8887438631 scam targeting elderly. Woman called asked my my date of birth and told me i might have won a vacation.

As soon as the idiot started talking knew it was a scam, I picked up to hear what scam it was. Blocked the idiots

Got a call and denied it since I don't answer numbers I don't know and no sooner did I deny the first call the number called again.

Called, left no message...showed up here on 800notes.  BLOCKED!!!

Hi.  I just wasted 31 minutes of their computer time by just sitting the phone down and listening to their recording loop.

Oh, yeah?  Little good this does.  They just pick another number from their endless list to call you and bother you with something else.  All the blocking in the world does little good as well.  Sometimes the number is UNAVAILABLE, other times it comes from a town such as Waxahachie, Ypsilanti, Okeefenokkee, Nachitoches, Nacogdoches, Tchoupitoula, Ukiah, Apalachicola and such.  They all go to voice mail.  Sometimes they leave their shiitake mushroom message, other times nothing or just breathing.  I pray for their souls.  Every day on the news, I hope for a story that they have been captured, and every day, I am disappointed.  This is an epidemic of ginormous proportions, and SOMETHING must be done about it and soon!.

Idiots called at 8AM, I didn't answer and am blocking.

Just called - had a few minutes to waste so I pretended I was interested. Because of my good credit payment history I am eligible for 0% credit card. They asked for some personal information so of course I complied (with bogus information).

Yeah! Just got the same call as Rob of NY.  I didn't comply...just hung up!
