I'm sick of the calls/msgs from diff #'s, so I called back  888-771-3082.  Name: First Financial Asset Mgmt - debt collection co (could represent ANY creditor.)  In my case, they represent local bank/credit card paid timely before hubby lost job 2 years ago.  

I'm on disability, and the law in MD (or is it Federal?) says creditors can't go after/harass someone on disability or unemployment, once you tell them.   As you notify them, they CAN offer you their deal & thereafter have to limit contact to snail mail or whatever you ask them to do.

I tried to call this number back to just see what was going on. It was First Financial Asset Mgmt with some British recording, then it went to putting me on hold and after a moment, went to a automated robot voice that kept repeating "I'm sorry, I didn't understand your response" and that just plays over and over. SO I hung up.
