I got it too  on my cell line...don't know if they are trying to pull marketing scam on cell phones and see if actually someone owns it??

They had wrong number.  Nobody by that name lives here.  Whoever had my number before sure owes a lot of people money.

I received a call from this number at 5:07 a.m in the morning asking for "John"  Now I've had this same number for 4 years and all of a sudden, I am getting calls from a John on this number.  Nice move.  I'm on the National Do Not Call Registry list.  Don't these people get it?

Tommy Hendricks, Mr. Covington from First Financial Asset Management, a debt collector, would like you to call him back at 1-888-771-3277 ext. 1766. And I really wish you would, because I have told these people a zillion times over the past year or so that I do not have you in my hostage collection and they are calling the wrong number.  The cool thing is, Mr. Covington released just enough information to me, the wrong third party, that if Tommy Hendricks was to play his cards correctly, his suit for damages against Mr. Covington and FFA for violations of the FDCPA might actually pay off this debt. ;-)  AND I preserved the recording of the call just in case.

Received a call on my cell from this number 888.771.3277 and 866.750.5643. Both asking for me by full name.  Stated they were First Financial Collection Agency.  Called them back but they could not find my number that they called or me by name.  Are they scamming?

Call is from First Financial, a collection agency/bank management company. I called them back, and they looked up my number. It was for someone else, and they supposedly removed me from their list.

This number continues to call, no there is no one there. We are on the Do Not Call list and don't want any calls from this number.

Called at 6:30 in the morning, then disconnected, Nuisance calls. They have called before with an automatic dialer. We are on the do-not-call list. Can't some authorities deal with them? There is no useful purpose to them doing this.

If they called you before 8am, they are in violation of the law and you can Sue them whether you owe them money or not.

I don't answer unknown 800 numbers and they didn't leave a message. They are now blocked from calling my line.

They called wanted to verify my info, Caller id just shows 800 service, I'm not telling them a thing. As I told the woman on the phone as far as I was concerned, she was a Nigerian trying to steal my identity.

caller stated that this was a business matter, refused to further identify himself, when I told him I was discontinuing call, he replied "So, we will just keep on calling you"......Jerks!!!

Keep getting phone calls from this company "First Financial" and I don't even do business with them. They call at different times and don't even leave a message. It is very anointing.

This number just called my cell phone asking for someone I don't even know.  I have no idea who it is, but sounds like some sort of bill collector.  I blocked the number.

Someone from this number called my mother stating they were filing charges against me and were sending someone to pick me up. Wouldn't say who they were or what was going on.

This number called me at 0856 on 17 June 2014 asking for a man and a woman by their first names, but I do not remember those names now.  This is the first time this number has shown up on my cell since I have had this number.  The caller did not say the name of the company or even his name.  I have to assume it is a debt collector making his rounds.

Received a call from 888-771-9975 with no message and then immediately a local area code and number (one that is assigned apparently to no one in particular as you cannot call that number back, but it shows local area code and prefix) but they did leave a message that I was involved in a lawsuit and had three complaints in my local county court for attempts to defraud for bad checks -- they did ask for me by name - but the case number they provided is not a case number for our local courts and as I work for an attorney, you are required to serve any summons/complaint filed within a certain time limit to give the party time to respond and/or prepare for a court hearing in such a case.  I have not had any letters to my address (which I have had for 8 years now), but the calls have occurred every so often for the last several years -- when I have attempted to respond or ask questions they become very belligerent and refuse to answer questions and have threatened to have me arrested and put in jail -- had no idea until I found this site the name of the company even
