they call my work phone 7-10 times a day.  the funny thing is they have to dial an extension to get to my direct line.  when i answer the call, they hang up on me.  when i let it go to voicemail, an automated voice recording tells me to call that 888-773-8452 number and ask for ms. covington.  when i call they ask me what number i am calling from.  when i tell them they hang up on me or tell me i am not in their database.  when i ask them to remove my number they say they can't or they just hang up on me.

They call my house 7-10 times a day.  I do not want to receive these calls anymore.  I don't care what PRI has to offer, I just don't want them to call my house phone number.

I got an automated call this morning from PRI telling me they have been trying to contact me for some time now.  They said if I wanted to talk to a person about the matter, to either press 3 or call 888-773-8452.  I checked them out on the web before I called.  I found this page.  I then called them and they asked for my husband's grandfather who had passed away over 6 years ago.  He said "Thank you" and then hung up.  I went to the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) and checked out the phone number.  I would highly suggest everyone who receives a phone call like that to check the number out on the bbb's site.  It is a company called Premier Recovery, Inc. in Florence, KY.  Their site is www.premierrecovery.net.  Good luck!

I've been receiving these calls for about three days, usually three times a day, when I'm at work. I've attempted to call the number that's been left on the voice mail, but I can't get through, (rings twice then the line sounds like it's engaged). I've tried both cell and home phone number. Now looking at the post's on this page, I'm beginning to wonder if this is a scam.

Yesterday, I started receiving calls from this number: 888-773-8452.  They identify themselves as 'PRI' Company (whatever that is).  I don't intend to return their calls.  Any company I deal with would phone me directly if they needed anything; also, they would not have to ask me for my phone number.  I suspect this 'PRI' company is some research company collecting information for one of their customers (but then that's just my opinion).

I started getting calls from this number, they leave a message to call them & ask for Ms. Covington.  Don't know who they are and how they got my number.  Got other calls from another number of theirs and very rude and threatening also.

They asked me to call- 6 voicemails a my home number.  They asked for someone who was not me-  i've ahd my number for 6 years.  Whne I asked them waht PRI was- they commented that they had the wrong number.  I asked them who gave out my number- concerned about ID theft- they said it was just a wrong number.  I asked them again what PRI was- the guy was rude and said it was a wrong number and hung up- weird.  Oh yeah-  I asked for Ms. Covington- she must not have been in- Ha~

AS ALL THE ABOVE COMPLAINTS, I ALSO GET PHONE CALLS EVERYDAY . I HAVE ABOUT 2-3 MESSAGES FROM THEM EVERYDAY. SAME AS ABOVE, THEY ASK TO PRESS ONE, TO SPEAK TO MS COVINGTON. WHEN I CALL THEY ASK ME WHAT NUMBER I AM CALLING FROM.  WHEN I TELL THEM THEY HANG UP ON ME OR TELL ME I AM NOT IN THEIR DATABASE.  I HAVE NO IDEA WHO ARE THEY, BUT I WANT THESE PHONE CALLS TO STOP.

I recieved 8 calls from PRI in one day, and when I tried to return their call to see what they wanted, I got disconnected, and hung up on, not from just my home number, but two other cell phones. I think this is a scam as well. I checked their website as well, and there is no information helpful to find out who they are, and the site itself looks as if a junior high school student made it. I definitely do not think they are a legitimate collection agency if they could even call themselves that at all.

    ***REAL INFO ON THIS NUMBER***

They are a legitimate collection agency. If they are calling, you, someone in your family, or someone who gave your number as a contact, may owe a debt to one of ther clients. But that doesn't mean they can call you at all hours etc! You can write them a letter (paper, not email) instructing them not to call you at a particular number(s).  They must then stop--at least for 30-days, I think.

Their website is http://www.premierrecovery.net, and it redirects to https://www.priintra.net. Their address is Premier Recovery, Inc., 7300 Turfway Rd., Suite 250, Florence KY 41042. Their real phone number is 859-431-2787.

Principals: Terry Thompson Bleska, Compliance Manager & Ernest Parton, President

I went to check my messages; the voicemail box was full of messages from a Ms. Covington calling from (859)655-7670 asking me to press '1" or call (888)733-8452 and ask for Ms. Covington regarding an urgent matter.  I looked the number up on Google and found this site.  Thank you to all that have posted your encounters!

They may be a collection agency, but not legitimate -- they quoted the digits of my SS# (not mine).  When I said it wasn't mine I was hung up on.  Hopefully that's the end of it.  I've never paid a bill late in my life, so they're messing with the wrong girl.

They use an automated system to verify information. DO NOT GIVE them any information. DO NOT CALL THEM BACK. Never deal with a collector. Most likely they have inflated an amount due anyway.

I wouldnt suggest ignoring the calls. they are only going to continue. Being a collector myself i have knowledge and know the laws surrounding the FDCPA. (fair debt collections practices act). they are entitled to call between the hours of 8 am and 9 pm in your time zone. Ignoring the calls will only make the situation worse.

yes.  they are somewhat a collection agency.  they are debt buyers.  however, they have a national license and advertise they are licensed in all 50 states.  but they are not licensed in Texas.  for their error i have a lawsuit filed on my behalf.  every state has different requirements and they have to obey each states requirements.  from what i can tell they do not.
