Wells Fargo Auto Finance

A gentlemen by the name of Braden left a message stating that his call was of a personal nature and to call him back.. I call the number already suspicious that this guy did not indicate what company he is with... the woman who answers the phone asks for my SS# to which I tell her I am not giving it to her because I don't know if this is a scam or what.. She says well sir, I either need your SS# or your acct# to be able to tell you why we called.  I hung up.  I then found my account number and called back.  This time I was greeted with 20 questions after providing my account number.. What is your name, home ph#, cell #, work #, employer, home address, etc, to which I responded with "why did you call me, I am giving no more information until you tell me why you called".. She proceeded to tell me about how I am delinquent on a payment (it's due on the 1st, I mailed it on the 3rd) and asked why I am having problems making my payments (which is only $130!).. Fair enough, I tell her it was just a simple mistake that my payment will be a few days late this month and she proceeded to ream me because "Wells Fargo does not have a grace period".. Who has ever heard of an auto loan company with no grace period?  Wow!  I will never do business with wells fargo again, I will stick with credit unions.

I had an interesting call from someone from the numbers below "claiming" to be Wells Fargo. Same story - they wanted my SS#, said my account was past due (NOT TRUE). When I questioned them they got aggitated with me. This is a SCAM. Do not give out any information. I called the number to Wells Fargo on my bill and confirmed that I was not delinquent. The numbers below do not even have a recording....so fake. The real Wells Fargo has been nothing but professional and helpful, don't let these scam artists keep you away from a great company.

I received a call from this number today from "Melissa" looking for my wife by name.  They said she was listed as a reference on Mary Perdue's car loan.  I asked my wife if she knew a Mary, she said no.  I called them back, went through the voice prompts to Melissa's extension (24505).  A male answered and quickly asked me for my account number and SS#.  I said I don't have an account, that I was calling back to the specified extension.  He tried to call it, then told me there was no answer, so we hung up.  My wife called back a minute later and got right through to Melissa who knew our address, her parents' address and odly enough their nicknames.  We're investigating now to see how they could have gotten such intimate detail.

You are right. My payment is due on the 15th and if it's not paid by the 17th or 18th they start harrassing me too. I'm thinking call people that are 30 or more days late and leave me alone. I would hate to have that job.

I received a call from them asking for my husband.  When I replied that I was his wife and could I help them, they hung up on me.  My husband said that he got the same call on his cell and they asked for me.  When he said I wasn't there, they promptly hung up on him.  It sounds like they are trying to get around talking to the person directly to buffalo the other person out of information

OK.  This # is a scam.  I talked to them last week after they left me a bunch of messages. I don't even have a car loan.  They asked for my SS#.  I am so happy I did not give it to them.  Told them to stop calling me as I do not have a car loan now or ever with them.  Tomorrow morning, I will be calling Wells Fargo to complain about this practice.  Lucky for me the # they are calling me on is a number only used for a security system.  Now time to turn off the phone portion so I stop getting these calls. Please if you get a call from this # or anyone else calling about Wells Fargo Auto Finance, call Wells Fargo back ASAP to complain.  This all happened once I turned off my unlisted # through AT&T.  All the calls I get is from scam artists like this company.

Called Wells Fargo direct this morning to complain.  The woman who took my info was very nice.  She said that Wells Fargo Auto Finance is their company, but did not understand why they were calling me.  She took my information to have all calls from them stopped.  Told her that they ask some really private information to whoever is calling. I also just submitted a complaint to the Do No Call Registry.  https://www.donotcall.gov/.  Hopefully anyone else that are getting these calls will do the same.

I started getting calls from this number today and they have quite a few numbers that they are calling from and trying to get my personal info that I won't give them. My hubby has a loan from then for his truck and what's weird is that I'm not even on the loan and I get the calls not him...go figure on that one. I know for a fact that the payments are never late as Wells Fargo does have a 10 day grace period. It's in the contract that my hubby signed when he got the loan. Right now I'm just not answering the calls from them. I know for a fact they have called me from at least 5 different phone numbers as I've looked them up on google. That's how I got here and found out it was the same scammers again claiming to be from Wells Fargo. You can't block the numbers because they have too many. They keep using different numbers all the time.

Thanks for your information.  I have been bombarded with all three exact phone numbers as you posted.  I have gotten to the point of not answering the calls at all.  Most of the time they are "missed calls", when someone does leave a message it is usually an automated recording to "call Wells Fargo".  When someone does leave a message "in person", it's not "friendly". I don't call back any more as, like you say, I now believe it's some kind of scam.

Do not call my number again!

All the guys are named Braden, it is a made up name. 2 Bradens have 2 different accents!

My daughter was laid off for over six months and fell behind three months on her auto lease (Honda).

These sleezebags were calling up to nine times a day, even after she began catching it up to date.

People - realize these folks are paid on the number of calls they make - the more they make , the more they get promotions, etc.

Remember, too, that when THEY call, it's no holds barred - you can call them [***], c*cks*$&ers, whatever.

Telemarketer calls twice a day. Morning and evening calls. Sometimes leaves a message but they always use unknown names as a contact that they want to talk too? I have contacted Wells Fargo to report this annoyance (in case it is their third party marketing) which they said will take 30 days to update. Well, it has not been resolved.

i got the same calls from the first two numbers you listed, i didnt answer for ive never seen them or recognized them. thanks, now i know for sure not to(:

I got a missed call that number. I went to check online to type the number. It was Wells Fargo scam. I refused to call back.
