It's from Capital Management Services, a debt collector. They also left another number to call, 877-218-8316

1-888-787-1176 Caller ID reads 800Service, The new number after reporting the harassment only what was 2hrs  Apax Financial gave the number to some other alleged collection company and change their call flow as to who was calling. THIS IS ALL A SCAM SCAM SCAM.... so from one number to the next to make people think this is really a collection company. SMFH

Got call from this number, ID said it was from Elmira, NY.  No message but could hear background noise that would be from a Call Center (lots of voices and ringing in the background) but they did not leave a message when my answering machine picked up.  I have lived in many states, but Florida is the worst when it comes to unwanted calls and solicitations, and I am on a NO CALL list with an unlisted number.  I guess the money I spent for that I might as well burned in my front yard.

a Melissa Bernhard just called me at my job from this number saying she was from Capital Management Services. First, she called my cell, then my minor child and then called me at my job. By this time, I was a little annoyed by this and took a message for myself. This site really helps in identifing the SCAM artists.

This guy called my job and I hung up on him.  Then within 30 seconds I had this number show up on my cell phone.  I have had this same person call 3 other relatives of mine, 2 of which are not on any paperwork with any company.  Do not talk to them.

Melissa bernhard calling on behalf of univeristy of phoenix when no money is owed to uop but I am involved in a class action lawsuit against the school.

What kind of lawsuit? I was called several times by this number at work, I also went to UOP.

FPCPA Rules state that they are NOT allowed to call you at your place of employment!!! What state are you in? City??

This guy called me 34 times on my cell phone and then called me 11 times at my work.. How does he get all my numbers? Also he called my son who is 11.. But he called my son 7 times.. I  blocked him but he is a fake guy and he needs to stop calling people.

The CMS people are seriously bad actors.  Work out of a grungy mall in Buffalo New York.  Just another mall-rat , kitchen table group of debt scammers.
One other site reported this number as being connected to CMS.  ( Capital Management Services, LP,
CMS General Partner LLC, and CMS Group, Inc.,--they are all basically the same company)

How do people call out of the blue have never seen this number call before and if this was a legit company why havent they sent a notice in the mail showing whoever supposely owes this imaginary debt to whoever they are calling for really

Have received at least 20 calls from this number. They finally left a message saying they were from Capital Management and it was in regards to a debt collection. When I called back I kept getting a busy signal. I finally got through and it said the number wasn't in service.

Called today the min I rang my bank. Hung up with bank to let it ring thru. I have a line that goes to vm after the fourth ring. My phone kept ringing-prob about 8-9 rings consecutively- vm would not pick up. When I picked up to see what was going on a man on the other end started off with a this call may be recorded bit and proceeded to ask for a John Hua? Or something sounding like that. I told him there is no one here by that name & he apologized and said he would take me off that list. This is the second time in a few days that I have called my bank and immediately had a not available id ring seconds after-and the other time was after 11pm on a Sunday night. Something not right going on.

They can call you at place of employment until you tell them not to.
