No Phone Message!

Wonder if this is from the "Statewide Appeals" that also uses the number 888-790-2772. They never leave a message.

Just got a call from them- no message.

Just called the number back to find out who they are- they are from the Autism Foundation-
You can get off of their call list by pressing 1 for more information, then listening to a brief description of the organization, and then pressing 3 at the end in order to not receive any more calls.  You have to wait until the very end of the description before you are prompted to dial 3 to get off of their list.

I sent the following message to InfoCision management (email addresses available on their website) and received a prompt and polite response from Steve Brubaker, Chief of Staff - InfoCision stating he would ensure my phone number is removed from their databases immediately.

I have received a growing number of phone calls from InfoCision Management Corporation soliciting donations on behalf of a variety of different charitable organizations.

I would be most appreciative if you would ensure that my phone number (XXX-XXX-XXXX) is immediately removed from all InfoCision databases and calling lists. I do not intend to make contributions to any of the charities InfoCision represents nor do I  intend to  canvass neighbors on behalf of the charities InfoCision represents.  

Continuing to call my phone number (which is registered on the FTC’s Do Not Call registry) will therefore be a waste InfoCisions’s precious resources, and more importantly, will lead me to contact the New York State Attorney Generals’ office to request relief from these unwelcome third party solicitations.

Your email response confirming removal of my phone number from all InfoCision databases and calling lists would be most appreciated. I am grateful for your assistance.

If I am near the phone I write down the number or else let the answering machine pick it up, if their
is no message left I know it wasn't for me. My solution is that my family and friends call me on my
cell and then I answer the cell or if they don't have a cell I call them back on their home phone.works

Just got a call from the above number.   Please stop calling!

Called twice, they can't validate their claim.
Nothing in our home mailbox indicating non payment from anyone.
They must have the wrong Jack Schitt?
Oh hmmmmm; another 800 number added to my call block list.

These creeps at Infocision/AUTISM DISORDER FOUNDATION keep calling and are very persistent, self-righteous & obnoxious. They ask for you by name to open the call (and if you're expecting a call from a legitimate source, you probably answer, "Yes, who's calling please?")--which in itself is a cheap trick to elicit info from you... Anyway, as soon as they identified themselves, I said, "NO! NO! NO! I've already heard about you on the internet and everything I've heard sounds like you're bogus, and you need to get our number out of your system. Where did you get our number anyway? We are on the Do Not Call List." She goes, "We get your number from public records, and the Do Not Call List does not restrict "charitable organization" calls." What b.s.! I told her "If you guys call again, we will report you to the authorities for harassment."

The real question is: WHY ARE WE SUDDENLY GETTING ALL THESE JUNK CALLS from "INFOCISION/AUTISM DISORDER" outfits???

This number is being "spoofed" by Complete Credit Solutions, a Debt Collector from Texas, attempting to gather information to create an account with someone.
Note: These numbers also have been spoofed by "NationWide" and "Progressive" collection agencies.

Whoever this is called me Sunday afternoon and the phone rang three times.  They did not want the recorder to pick up and thus they would have to pay for the call.

They are now blocked and they can call all they want and my phone will never ring.

I am on the DNC for all the good that does

Sunday aft 3:06pm. No idea who it is but very similar # to last week

Many unwanted calls----sometimes 4 in one day.  I will try what what Gloucester suggested.
