Just received a call from 1-888-798-9058. When I answered the phone, no one said anything, it was just a hang-up call.  I immediately called the number back.  A recording answered, saying it was the Allstate Insurance Company calling to tell me about an Emergency Road Service Plan. I left a message asking that I please be placed on their DNC list, meaning Do Not Call me again!!!

Claimed my Allstate Motor Club membership is up for renewal, but I don't even have one.  I think this may be a scam to get credit card information.

This number has been calling me on and off for about a year. I don't know whats going on with them today. Since 9:00 am today they have called me 21 times and counting, it is now 4:00pm as of this typing. I just found their website and sent them an email, I doubt that will work, but it's worth a try. I think I'll be canceling my Allstate insurance policies. I would never purchase this road side assistance from Allstate, and I made that perfectly clear to them, but they keep calling.

Update to my last posting. It's now the day after Thanksgiving and they are up to it again. By 10:00 am  I was already on my third phone call from Allstate motor club this morning. I dealt with a nightmare from them the day before Thanksgiving, I saw the writing on the wall, it was going to be another day like the last one. I then called my Allstate insurance agent to explain what's going on with these freaks. He offered no apology and told me he would put me on the no solicitation list. He then called them and told them to stop. Finally my phone is quiet again, but it's too late I already canceled all three (homeowners, auto, life) of my insurance policies with Allstate and opened up new policies with someone else. I better not ever hear from these freaks again. It's a win win situation for me. I get my phone back again, plus I saved $600 dollars a year with the new insurance company. Boy did Allstate screw up.

Sorry. It'll be the last time you hear from me. I just want to add I got on Allstate's motor club website again and sent them another email stating that I left Allstate and canceled all my policies because of them. Hopefully someone's head at Allstate motor club division will roll for how they harassed and tried to strong arm me. They pushed and I pushed back even harder where it hurts them the most. Right now Allstate is not doing nearly as well financially as they used to.That's why they are getting desperate to enroll people in this waste of a motor club program, but instead they are pissing people off and turning them away.Hopefully they will not ever treat anyone else like they treated me.

I didn't realize when I opened up renters insurance with them that I'd get tons of letters and calls for everything under the sun. I might be changing it up aswell.

I'm just going down to the local Allstate office and tell them to stop or I'll start calling them 30 times a day trying to sell used cigarette butts and see how they like it.

Guess they are still up to the same old crap!!!!!! They keep calling my phone and when I answer NOTHING and if I do not answer when they call they will not leave a message. Leave me alone!!!!!!!

Same as the others - offer for an Allstate Emergency Roadside Service Plan. I had to get a low value renter's insurance for my stupid apartment and they had a "deal" with Allstate. Allstate then started trying to sell me other stuff. Said I had 1 free month if I'd sign up. Already have AAA so refused.

They did not leave a message. I did not answer. If it was important enough they would have left a message.I'm not calling them back.

Have been getting harassed by Allstate ever since I made the mistake of getting renters insurance through them. I finally lost it today and called their customer service to let them know that I will be filing a complaint with the FCC if they ever call me again for anything not directly related to my policy.

I will NEVER, EVER, get anything through these idiots in the future. I've never been contacted once by Geico (my current auto insurance provider) nor any company in the past for that matter.
