This is a Grant promising company based out of Nevada. They ask small buisnesses for approximatly $2500 with the 97% promise of a grant for 100,000 and up. Sounds suspect.

    Hi,
So, what else do they tell you or ask you? I have spoken to some swift talker there and I was under the impression I would not pay anything up front. Now I find they are pressing me to get this thing going. I tried Googling there name (National Financial Advisors, Inc.) and nothing comes up. I also sent this person Dustin Shapiro (dshapiro@natfina.com) an email stating that, and he did not call me or email me back today like he said he would. If you could email me here, that would be greatly appreciated: Ironwoodal@aol.com
    Thanks.

I have been contacted by this company too. Same setup as you--phone call, email from Dustin Shapiro, etc. They did give me a reference for a gentleman in California; I spoke to him and he said they did work for him and he did get a payout, and that he has referred other associates to him. I still have questions however.

I went to the site natfina.com aka www.nationalfinanceadvisors.com
    They are:
    NFA Group Inc
    1180 Center Point Dr.#200
    Henderson, NV 89014

They are registered with Nevada State Corporations, their Corp #E0641422005-4 and it is Active since 10/1/2007, Listed Officer: Jason Ostrowski:  https://esos.state.nv.us/SOSServices/Anonymou ... bzAJQ%253d%253d

    Whats strange is that www.nationalfinanceadvisors.com
    is Registered to:
    Rich Cee

      400 N stephanie #200
      Henderson,  89014
      US

BUT their other site, natfina.com is registered out of country:

The outside of the country registration is a domain privacy company from what i can tell.  Domain Discreet has little info available.

I think this is suspect.  There is so little information available about this company, but here is what i found from the internet and speaking with people on the phone at National Finance Advisors:

Robert Shapiro is the Director of Operations
Josh Walburg is a Sales Representative
Mike Saiz is a Foundations Advisor (According to Robert)
Dustin Shapiro is mentioned in posts (Sales Rep?)

Also looking a little deeper you find that natfina.com is related to Worldprofit.com, who I'm guessing does their web work. Take a look for yourself: http://www.aboutus.org/NationalFinanceAdvisors.com

What more strange is that WorldProfits.com is related to many internet product based sites.  Jeffery Lane seems to be the common thread.

I was going to move forward with this, but I decided not to based on the simple fact they would not take payment via. escrow or credit card.  Both methods would protect my money if they did not deliver what they claim they are going to deliver.  If this was legitimate, they would take all forms of payment, and not just non-refundable (unprotectable) methods.

If someone goes through with this please post, but I'm not willing to take the risk.  $1,595 is still a lot of money to be scammed out of!

Let's clear the air here! Sounds like paranoia is getting the best of some potential clients! Nothing good can come from posting blogs based on skepticism and dis-information. Are services are very clear and direct.

National Financial Advisors is an exceptionally qualified “third party” grant evaluation firm that has many years of experience in evaluating government and privately funded grant programs. We use only doctorate and master level evaluators who each have more than 10 years of grant evaluation experience. We also include an implementation planning element early on in all of our evaluations to ensure your staff is informed of its obligations and deadlines under the terms of the grant award. We will be onboard with your organization from the day of award, until the submission of the final evaluation report – which will help to minimize the amount of time that your staff will have to devote to the required paperwork, data collection, and reporting. We specialize in developing process evaluation systems that ensure your organization is well prepared for audits and grantor reviews. Our evaluators will additionally set up a comprehensive outcome evaluation system so that the impact of the grant and its related services are assessed and determined in order to justify future funding and related sustainability efforts. Depending on the size of the grant, National Financial Advisors typically charges 10% of the grant award amount to the foundation (not out of the grantee award).

I have no problem with NFA so far.  If they were no a ligit company, they would not allow legal documents to go through the mail system with there actual signatures, I sent everything with the US Postal Office where they must show ID in order to recieve everything.  Now if they were not ligit, they would now have a Federal Case against them by using the mail system.  I have faith in them so far and believe they will come through, I'm suppose to have something within 30 to 45 days, so for everyone who is involved with me, I hope they are not a scam, yet, I personally don't think so and my family members are very powerful in this country from a legal standing and they have faith in them so far also.

I recently talked to this company.  Specifically Dustin Shapiro.  Before I was ready to send in my money,  I asked for references.  In both case I could not find any information on the references' businesses.  When I spoke to the people they said it has worked for them.  I asked them for their local phone numbers.  In both cases they would not give me the information.  I asked Dustin for a reference with a local phone number.  He indicated that the legal department only allows 2 references.  I looked up their website was created.  They was created in May 2008. That was also the date the BBB told be they registered their business.  The final straw was the article I found from the Neveda Attorney General in the attached link. http://www.allamericanpatriots.com/48733967_n ... mall_businesses.

Hi, I have recently been in contact with this company and their big promises.  I have not sent any money to them and told them I was going to do some serious research before I sent them anything.  I asked for references from other businesses that they had done work for and they couldn't give any to me.  The company is relatively new and that is a red flag to me also.  Did you end up doing any business with them?  Thank you, Gretel Allen
