I received a card in the mail with a vacation package offer. The number listed is 1-888-812-1139 and United Airlines is the carrier.  The travel provider was listed as World Wide Travel

So, is it legit? We received a similar postcard. As a natural skeptic, it sounds a bit too good to be true.

This sounds phony with no justification for the offer. There is no way I would answer this and give them any tracking opportunity,

According to the mail I received from them, I have been awarded "two round trip airline tickets to any major international airport anywhere in the continental USA from this Pulaski Tickets and Tours.  To claim this gift, I simply call 1-800-591-5789.  Their address is 2190 Meridian Park Blvd., Suite A, Concord, CA 9450.

This sounds to good to be true so I am throwing it out.

I got mail today saying that I won two R/T airline tickets on Jet Blue Airways and if I call within 72 hours get a free rental car from Rent-A-Car.  On the back it has Pulaski Tickets and Tours.  Also states "promotion is not sponsored by or affiliated with Jet Blue Airways or Dollar Car Rental."  Wonder why the difference in car rental agencies?  This is a case if its too good to be true,  it is.

I also got a card in the mail on 11/20/07, with "Pulaski Travel" as the provider, same as Metoo.

I'm suspicious of this mail for two simple reasons.

1. it says on the back, "this is not a solicitation for a timeshare." If it was truly legit, why would United feel the need to clarify this point?
2. It was sent to my neighbor's address. The only place they could possibly have found this address was in the property tax database, where our properties are listed together.

United Airlines has my correct address because I'm in their frequent flier program, and I seriously doubt they would send this mail to the wrong address.

Same postcard as AnotherLuckyContestant, from United and addressed with "Pulaski Travel". Does anyone know if it legit?

I too received the "United" card in the mail with the reference to Pulaski Tickets and Tours in Concord, CA.

I did a little research and uncovered this web site via a Danvile, CA Chamber of Commerce listing:
http://www.condotravelclub.com/index.asp

Anyone own a Timeshare? I bet that is where the mailing list originates.

I received a postcard, too, and I was curious about it.  I called them and they invited me to a travel presentation on Sunday @ their office.  They said it's a 90 minute presentation, no obligation to buy their product, but we will get a 2 airline ticket to anywhere in the USA.  I will post here again after my husband and I attend their presentation.  Maybe I exposed myself to a scam.  We'll see.

Did  you go to the presentation?  We also received a card and have an appointment scheduled for Sunday, March 9th.  My husband is very suspicious and is sure this is a scam.

Well, it isn't a scam.  Not at all.  It is a travel club.  You decide whether or not to join.  If you join, it is a great deal if you take advantage of what it has to offer.  I already posted in this forum, so I don't want to spend too much time.  I'm a member, and it worked out for me becuase I travel and use the benefits.  More in a rebuttal I wrote:(ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=326836).  Bsically, people can have whatever opinion they want about travel clubs and timeshares, but they aren't scams (at lest I know this one isn't)...and nobody forces you to join.  I'm sure you'll make the decision that is right for you.  Good luck.

what did you think of your presentation?
I went and am researching on web.  I haven't found anything clearly good or bad about the offer yet.  The conditions on the 2 plane tickets are very restrictive, however.

My wife and I have been members for three years.  The company, travel club, and the services are all legitimate.  It is an excellent deal if you travel.  There is really nothing else like it.  We get the benefit of a timeshare without having to own one.  Plus, we get travel agent discounts and can even go on FAM trips.  We went on a cruise and paid wholesale with them.  The more flexible you are, the better deals you can get.  It was a little pricey up front (even though we got free gifts), but the membership is starting to pay for itself.  It is just nice to be able to want to go somewhere, and I don't have to search and search or go to a travel agent I don't know and pay commission.  They provide a lot of service, and they'll help me get the best deal without all the worries of online booking.

I got the same card in the mail today from Pulaski Tickets and Tours 2190 Meridian Park Blvd, Concord, but they are now using a new phone number: 1-800-591-5789

I'm going to run it through the shredder.
