    Dearing
Collection agency calling and calling for dead people, they are bottom feeders and cannot even prove someone owed them money.  They should have called when she was alive.  She owed no one a debt....wish it would stop but even letting them know she died, they still call!  Unbelievable.

called my home several times already today.  They are a collection agency collecting debts that are 20 years or older.  They are breaking the law by calling at 7:00 am, 7:30 am and again at 8:00 am.  They are also breaking the law threatening people with jail time, and they do not have any original records showing a debt is even owed.  They have been calling for my deceased sister, I have informed them of her death, but they still call.  She had nothing....no bank accounts, only a small social security check that dis not even cover her expenses let alone food and her medication.  It's sad that they go after poor people especially when the are dead.  The government does nothing about it.  I have blocked all the numbers they call from, I think they should stop or get sued!  The government needs to audit them, but they won't even do their job in stopping this crap.  Sad.....It hurts when they ask for her.

Calls without any Caller ID. Has used various numbers to call from. Second call today and 3 yesterday from same organization with same MO. Never leaves a message. I've been free from debt for more than 10 years, never had a payday loan and never been late paying any bills, whether they be for utilities or mortgage. My credit reports do not reflect any unpaid debs. I would hope the Government Organizations responsible for catching these criminals, would do their jobs and put these rascals away. I think they prey on senior citizens, who do not have good memories or records to rely on and pay even though they don't owe anything.

thank you for the info, I'm giving my phone records to an attorney to go after the...my attorney said to just let them keep calling, it gives me a record of how stupid they are...he said he is filing charges against them and has found several other people having the same problem.  Was going to get a class action against them but he wants them to pay up for upsetting me about my deceased sister.  He is having their lines monitored!  Keep calling you are digging a deeper hole!

collection agency that cannot provide proper original documentation of collecting.  There is no time frame, but they have to show proof with ORIZgINAL documentation. They are unable to do so, if they keep calling, they will be sued!  They have not provided any original validation...because the accounts they are trying to collect are 15-20 years old.  Stupid people and what a waste...keep it up!

They originally called multiple times from a number that had their ID. I finally answered and told them the person they want does not live here, take me of their list, stop calling, etc. So now they keep calling with numbers that have no caller id. Block one number and the next day they call from a different one, block it, they call from a different one. It's getting old.

    CustomerServiceman!
If anyone gets a call from this company, do the following (it's stopped the calls)
    1) Ask for Jason Witte - he's the floor director.
    2) Ask them to remove the number they just called
    3) If they ask if you're "so and so", tell them you're not at liberty to give that information until they tell you what they're company's name and what duties they preform.
3a) You're going to get "We deal in personal business matters." - let them know that that's not an answer. Give him this very example (he and i had a 30 minute conversation) and he'll know where it came from (fight the power!): "McDonalds sells food, Target sells clothes, what does your company do?" If he refuses again, verify that his "direct supervisor is Brian Massey, right?" Tell them that because of all the telephone scams out there, you're not comfortable verifying any information, and that "whatever they're selling, you're not buying."
    4) When you get off the phone, call 1.800.925.6686 and say "Brian Massey please." This is the VP of the CBEgroup. If you ask just like I said, you'll go right through to Brian. You'll probably get his voicemail, totally okay. Leave a voicemail. Let Brian know that you're being harassed by Jason Witte. He did not reveal what the company does.
    5) If they call again, call Brian back each and every day they call. Complaining about Jason.

If we're going to stop these calls, and change the business practice, we need to NOTICEABLY focus our efforts.

If the debt is old in many states that bars them from taking you to court.  Debt age does matter.  Once the debt is established as old and once you tell them not to call then they have no further recourse.  If they continue then sue them for harassment.  Yes; its that simple.  It does not mean you do not owe the debt if they prove it is your debt.  It just means that they can't force you to pay it and they can not harass you about it or anything else.
