Simply block the calls.  This is a total scam operation.  Any letters received from this group should be taken down to the local post office so the postal inspectors can take a look at it.  This could be mail fraud.

This company does not make outbound calls, They only return calls made to their office. if you were contacted it was because you or someone at your number called in response to their mailing and the call was returned. They have helped me. it is concerning when people who do not have first hand experience with a company post as if they have some sort of expertise or direct experience. I checked their BBB information before hand, and although they are new under FDAA, they are an established company under Clear Solutions Inc. "A" rating. Been in business since 2008. Incidentally they do not do debt consolidation or settlement.

So, even though you to whom this number belongs, you decided to look it up anyway.  You then came to a complaints website, and then write a glowing review.  This is typically shilly behavior.

Thank for asking. What actually happened was I referred a friend to the company, and they told me what they found when they researched. Then I decided to post.

FEDERAL DEBT ASSISTANCE ASSOCIATION, LLC AKA CLEAR SOLUTIONS INC AKA FPCS INC.
    Posted in:
Web site is a bit cheesy, lists them in Maryland, and makes absolutely no mention of being as subsidiary of the other companies.  It also claims that it can send debt validation letters out to creditors under FDCPA laws, which is false. There is no mention of how much they charge to do what anyone can easily do for free simply by downloading one of the sample letters from the CFPB web site or composing their own letter to mail out.
    http://www.fdaassociation.org/contact
BBB gives FDAA no rating with one complaint.  In the answer to that complaint, FDAA says that their web site clearly indicates that they are Clear Solutions.  I can find no mention of Clear Solutions on the FDAA web site.  https://www.bbb.org/greater-maryland/business ... -and-complaints
BBB gives Clear Solutions an A rating with 0 complaints or negative reviews, but this could possibly be because they are operating under the FDAA name:  https://www.bbb.org/greater-maryland/business ... arm-md-90275358

Trade name registration for the above company was signed by Robert Pantoulis, so either he is using a Nicholas, or this is a family organized scam.

This reads like someone from the company wrote this.

There is no mention on their website that they are established under of Clear Solutions Inc. It looks like Clear Solutions is a proxy company name they are using to protect themselves. You also say "they have helped you", which is very vague; but they've only been in business 9 months and they tell their clients that their process takes 1 to 2 years. They clearly have not helped anyone through the completion of the program yet, and I am sure they have no proof of actually helping anyone clear all their debt, just like the other debt validation scams I've looked into.

Possible because their letter used that number.  I just got one of these letters, and it used the 877-777-7845 number.  The getoutofdebt.org link posted by CWG40 you can see part of the address and phone, however the phone/address listed on the letter I received is different: 11615 Crossroads Circle, Suite M, Baltimore, MD 21220. Other than that, the letters look identical. That zip code is actually Middle River, MD so the letter has the city wrong.  Suite M (according to Google's current information) shows a different company in Suite M, so Google is outdated or the letter false. I'd place bets on the latter, since the city was wrong for that ZIP.
