- Wayman HumphriesGot a call about a bogus debt and when I informed the caller I'd just purchased a house and would have known about any outstanding debt the man became very rude and transferred me to a woman who said she would have me served with court papers at my job to embarrass me.

- Watch OutIf you get a call from this number it is a scam. They want your information and say you have an outstanding debt and if you pay them now for a settlement they will not file charges on you. These people are rude and obnoxious. They will call your employer and will talk trash about you to try to intimidate you into paying them. I reported them to the FBI, FTC, and my local authorities. It did not seem like our government agency's really care. So if you want to get these Jack [***] back star 67 their number and start harassing them. Don't be afraid of these scumbags, let them have a taste of there own medicine.

- DanMy wife received a call on her phone in regards to legal actions for me from legal support services claiming this was their third attempt to contact me. I have never received a notice, phone call, mail, email, or anything if that nature about court documents. She attempted to get as much info about it add possible but they would give her nothing but a case number and this number 888 837 9840. From reading other posts it seams this is a debt collector scam. If someone really needed to serve me they would just send someone to my house. My credit profile is up to date with my address. What bothers me the most is that they would attack my wife and get her upset and worried. Looking into what legal action I have at this point.

- JenniferI receive calls from this number every day and some times multiple times a day looking for someone named Robert Bridge. I have called them 2 or 3 times now asking for them to remove my number and telling them I don't know any Robert Bridge. I called today and asked again and was trying to get information on who they were but the lady interrupted me every time and then yelled at me for being rude. She just hung up and when i called back her supervisor answered and was being as rude. I really wish these people would stop calling me.
- Ween| 1 replyFor those of you unfamiliar with process servers, they will never, ever, call you to give you a heads up that they are going to serve you papers!!! Seems like the FBI could catch these criminals easily.
- VI would recommend that all parties contacted by these people file a complaint through http://www.consumerfinance.gov

- Ms. Jane| 6 repliesThis company gave me the best service. I was able to settle this outside of court for a debt that I "thought" I paid off. They really worked with me and lowered my settlement. I spoke to several different people and great customer service. This is not a scam. I remember this debt and it was indeed on my credit report when I requested it. So all of you who are saying this company is scam, I am proof that it is not. Pay your bills people, don't make excuses for your debt. No BS here. But if you owe a debt that isn't paid, I can only imagine the things people say to get out of it. And especially all the people who choose to bash on this company because they don't have any money to pay their bills. Get a life.

- Ms. Jane| 1 replyALSO, the blocked number and the company I called are NOT the same company. TWO different companies with TWO different job descriptions.

- Dubious replies to Ms. Jane| 3 repliesA debt you "thought" you paid off?
Why is their number blocked, and why are they rude? A legitimate debt reduction/elimination agency would not behave in this fashion. I hope you didn't send them any money... - Ms. Jane replies to DubiousHave you ever met a debt collector who wasn't rude? I have yet to hear about any pleasant debt collector stories.

A phone number for Wells Fargo collections. Same thing. Different company.
When I called this company, they did not have me verify my full SS
They stated the last 4 and had me ver my birth. Fair enough to know I
was talking to a company who already has my information and can give me the specifics.
My brother tried calling in for me and they would not give any information without my verification.
And they have not once in my payments over charged me or taking out any money that I didn't agree to.
My settlement has been done for 5 months now. - Ms. Jane replies to Dubious| 1 replyThey're not calling you from a blocked call. As I stated, two different issues.
I was given this # through mail I got at my apartment prior thinking for the longest
time that it was just junk mail.
If you need to be sued, I'm sure they will find a way to do it.
Credit cards and loans are legal issues. It's free money and not a damn thing
is ever "free." Eventually, they will find ways to collect. Sorry for your experiences, but
mine was a lot different. - Elspeth replies to Ms. JaneSure, it's not a scam - in your dreams! You ARE proof that informing people of their rights is cutting into your scam. Too bad, so sad - for you. The only "proof" here is that you're a shill. And not a very good one, either. People are not making excuses for their debt - because the people being called don't OWE the debt. There's "no BS here"? Bull puckey. The only person posting a positive review of this "company" - oops - that should be SCAM - is you. Your post is an epic fail - people know their rights and are not going to be bullied and intimidated into paying bogus debts. And why don't YOU "get a life"!
- yef replies to Ms. JaneAre your pants on fire yet?
- MJG replies to Ms. JaneTrying for "Shill of the Week????? LOSER!!!!!!
- Resident47 replies to Ms. Jane} Have you ever met a debt collector who wasn't rude?
No, but I've spoken to several who managed to do their jobs while treating me politely. Their bosses and their automated systems, however, keep doing rude and stupid things to me -- which is why if they need to be sued, I don't "find a way to do it", I simply file my FDCPA action with the court clerk. I do this solo because unlike collector shills I'm reasonably organized, not prone to "forgetting all about that silly loan" or ignoring mail or destroying evidence of a company's lawbreaking.
Might the "P&C" be Phillips & Cohen Associates, Ltd, known scofflaws and decedent debt vultures? - Jaime Wagner| 2 repliesYou guys are all ignorant.
