I got a call and he left a message, yesterday I got a call from the same place but they didn't use the 888 number. He said there was a claim against me and they needed my address and my work phone number. I don't think so! It is just another scam to try and suck money out of you. I get these phone calls about once a month and then it stops for about a month or two. Then it starts again and I might get 4-5 calls saying I am about to be arrested or there are charges filed against me and I will lose my drivers license. This has been happening for about a year. I just block the numbers but it never stops new numbers from coming up.

I have been thinking of changing my number but I have had my cell phone for 5 years. It is a pain but I just have to deal with it.

Payday loan

I got the same call on 9/11 saying they had some sort of claim against me and needed my work and home address. You're right, I keep blocking these people and then they call back from a different number. It's very annoying!!! I have googled a couple of other numbers and some of them come back as just IP addresses which is just a computer calling numbers over and over again. And it's never a real person, it's always automated! Then when you call the number back it's disconnected or just rings and rings. FAKE!  It's more annoying than anything else!!!

Same thing, they call constantly from different numbers, they say a claim is against me and want me to verify info, they get rude when I won't comply and hang up on me.
This has happened before then they quit then they come back
They say they are Alliance?
Attorney General should do something about this!

Got a call today - Deanne Adams from Alliance - We have a locating service to verify address for delivery claim against me currently the investigation is listed as incomplete - We are now proceeding forward.  Got to love these people.  

They called themselves "absolute" claiming that I owe them money...  Dont identify themselves and read off your information ... Then yelled through the phone that you owe money and we are taking you to court

Called stating about a fraudulent loan back in 2012.

Got a call today also saying I have an unpaid loan and charges are being brought up if I don’t pay 1,700$ or start a payment plan

they have a. claim me, and the want to know where to delivery the documents, blah, blah, blah

If the account is past STATUE OF LIMITATIONS (SOL) for whatever state your in let them take you court and spend the money get a lawyer, don’t be silly like I was and try to represent yourself the 1st time, and fight it. For the most part (with some exceptions ) they cannot collect on debts past the Statue of Limitation for your state, good luck and God Bless

These people will call even after it has been determined that they have the wrong number. They disguise themselves as "absolute" and absolutely annoying.  I blocked the number however they will call from another number. I decided to annoy them back from a different number and each time they would hang up on me. Gave them a taste of their own medicine.

I wish someone would tell me where I could find that Statue since I have heard so much about it.  The only thing that I could find was the Statute of Limitations which is the law that states how long they have to sue you and is a affirmative defense.  Something that would not require an attorney.  However you should have counter sued them for FDCPA violations.

Poor Emily. Her little recorded message is so sad.  Emily dear, stop trying to SCAM people and stop lying to them when you call.  Emily is your ENEMY!  Do not send money. FAKE papers will NEVER show up at your home or work.  SCAMMER!!!

They call daily so I decided to have a little fun with them today. Claimed they were the legal department from "Absolute". When I asked if this person "Miss Walker" was an attorney, she told me to "f*ck off and her boys know where I live!" I laughed and told here she was absolutely clueless.

They call my cell phone. I don't answer numbers I don't know. They are leaving voicemails for someone else saying they have the fax ready to deliver and will make one more attempt to reach this person either at work or home and say to call them if there is a different place for delivery.
