They got me too.  It was a robocall claiming to be from AT&T wanting to discuss my phone plan.  Funny thing is that we don't have AT&T for phone service and haven't used them for a really long time so I highly doubt this call is legit.  The caller ID just showed Toll Free Caller.    

Got a call from this # -message said they were "AT&T Migration" and would have to install a Uverse box or our phone service (business) would be interrupted!!
Yeah right!  Called AT&T - said it could be a sub selling Uverse box, but it is NOT required!!

Called me today 12/02/2013 @ 03:47PM.  A person claiming her name was Natasha Zeller left a message claiming to be with AT&T Migration Department and that all business phone lines were being switched from Analagoue to a Digital Network.  I was required to call 888 851 4247 x 6708 to schedule an appointment. There would be no cost to my business.  The CID shows that the call  came in on 877 315 7325.  This does not make sense. Why would AT&T call on the 7325 number and tell me to call on the 4247 number.  I just spoke to AT&T this morning and there was no mention of a "Migration."   This is a scam

Called our house about 4:15. Left partial message ". . .is currently outdated and requires your immediate attention. Please call 1-888-851-4247 now to speak to an AT&T solution provider about all your service options. A delayed response may result in an increased service rate or involuntary transfer of your service plan. Please call 1-888-851-4247 now. . ."

Note that this is NOT AT&T, but a reseller. Called AT&T service number on my phone bill, and they assured me that my service was not in any danger of being transferred. Also, that I am on AT&T's do not call list, so they will not call me with marketing information, nor will they sell my number to third parties. Of course, these scumbags could simply have gotten my number from a phone book. Although that would be illegal, since we are on state and federal do not call lists. Not that that's worth anything.

Got the same message. Funny how they use the same voice that AT&T uses.

Received partially chopped off voicemail message message referencing AT&T Business Solutions and that my phone plan was in danger of being terminated or rates raised unless I transferred to a different plan.  Red flag.  Came up on caller ID as identity withheld. Red flag.  Contacted AT&T who assured me my current plan is fine.  Scam artist trying to switch you to a different calling plan...

Our church got the message that our DSL is going digital from analog and that unless we make the change, we will lose service permanently.   Hello! DSL means "Digital Service Line!" That caller is definitely a telemarketer who declared that this was a service--not a sales call!  Don't believe it!
They want to "bundle" you and sell you a U-Verse package with the promise of a $100.00 rebate,  and they push an aggressive sales pitch that it's free installation in "your area" right now, but later it will be $300.00 to install the fiber optic line. I called ATT tech support, and I learned that "no...you will not lose service.Yes, the copper lines are being replaced by fiber optic lines, but the Legacy DSL still works. By the way, if you decide to go to U-Verse, you do risk a period of no service, so before you decide to migrate to U-Verse, be sure you specify when you wish the migration to occur." Thank you ATT Tech Support!  

NOT AT&T!! - same deal - CID shows 877-315-7325 but message says they have to upgrade our business service to avoid interruption and to call them immediately at 888-851-4247 - BS

Got a call from them today, caller ID was Illinois  773-840-0525, they left a message, said my ATT plan was outdated.  Said to call 1-888-851-4247.
ATT says this is a scam call.

I received an awkward sounding call claiming to be AT&T saying I had a mandatory upgrade. They left their number to call back. I called AT&T to confirm that we didn't have to get a line change. I also searched the number and found this page. The people at this number are liars. First, they will tell you they are AT&T, they aren't. They also lie about you having to take their package saying it's mandatory. They also say they are AT&T, when I pressed them, they said they were AT&T service providers. They are liars. Don't trust calls from this number.

Called from 888-851-4247, ext 6703 "Palar".  She claimed that our business phone would stop working if we didn't have one of the technicians "in the field" make updates to our service.  We asked for a call back number, looked up the number and found this site.  They also claimed to be AT&T.  Really pretty annoying scam.

Have received numerous voicemails from 888-851-4247 regarding our AT&T Business phone service.   These guys are NOT the real AT&T but rather "authorized AT&Tn resellers" who want to sign you up for a new phone plan which may or may not be with AT&T. Junk and deceptive telemarketing at it's finest.  

Got a call from # Telling us we need to switch from DSL to uverse. We already have uverse when asked who's name is on paycheck and she said AT&T then hung up.

Warning: Pure B.S. 4 calls within seconds of one another -warning me that my rates will go up and representing themselves as ATT.  Must Call? My Butt!  Watch out for these scam artists. Can't trust anyone that calls these days and won't release their full identity. Should be a reg flag to anyone.

Same here.  Said my service was outdated and needed to be changed or I would be paying more or I could lose service... Glad I checked.  Thanks for the heads' up.  Sure sounds like a scam.

Robo-caller claiming my AT&T service is in jeopardy, blah, blah, blah. They drop the AT&T name a lot without coming right out and saying they are AT&T, which they are NOT. They sure imply it, though.

this is my business acct and someone is calling from this number claiming to be at&t and making it sound like a threat

They call almost every day!  Can't get them to stop.  SCAM

recording with this number to call "AT&T" or else we will get charged more for service on our business line. Came here to check out the number and seems to be a scam.
