they've called on and off for a year now looking for someone who doesn't live at my number anymore. I've called them back 3 times to give them a forwarding number of the person they are looking for and still they persist. Today's call was the worst extension#394 was so rude and obnoxious it was unbelieveable. I was understandably upset being wrongfully harassed by these people and the guy was expecting me to apologize to him for being upset. Absolutely appalling! He hung up on me twice and wouldn't tell me the reason they keep calling. So I left a voice mail for a manager. I don't expect them to call back because they never do - it's like a game to them - they expect you to call them back and you either get a voice mail or get hung up on!

So I did and after a while the line just hang up the call me everay day but I know that my account have all been paid so I juste dont know why the call me.

They call us all the time, and a recorded message asks us to press 1, and then we're disconnected. Sometimes the message is in French. It's a real piss off. Continuous calls, but nothing changes. Sigh....

They call my cell number once a month, but never leave a message. I've got no debts, so they are wasting their time. This isn't the first one either. These collection agencies should update their databases more often instead of going with a number that is several years old. Just plain idiotic!

They told me this is for Columbia House for an account from 1998.  I asked for a number to contact Columbia House and the number they gave me is not a working number.  I am pretty sure that I have no debt with Columbia House.  I did the contract once a long time ago but I filled my obligation and quit! No free movies or music!  Why would they not send me a bill?  He doesn't have an answer for this.  If they call again, I think I'll ask some more questions.  I am answering all the numbers that you guys have told me about and either playing with their heads or telling them to go out and make love to themselves.  I may have to take up a few foriegn language courses at the local college...some of these people "don't do English good"

A HORRIBLE company. they called every day since last year to find a person that i have never heard of before. i can't remember how many times that i told them NO SUCH PERSON now and before.

I wonder where this collection company stands in the collection agency hierarchy?  By that, are they a Mom and Pop shop, legal firm, top end firm, or the type of shop that buys up the bad debt that no other firm wants to touch?

This company has been calling my mobile at about 11 am every day for the last few days.  It seems from the posts above that I can expect more of the same.  I suppose they've got my number from a previous owner, and that's the only contact they can find for that person.  Alternatively, they could be generating random mobile phone numbers to see which ones are live.  I left a message at extension 348, but I don't really expect anything to happen.  I just hope that my phoning back doesn't "qualify" my number as a candidate for more voice mail spam, if the whole program is a scam to create a list of valid mobile phone numbers for sale to some nefarious marketer.

Hierarchy.....that's funny!!

They're still calling once a month (guess I'm one of the luckier ones) and leaving recorded voice messages, despite my returning their call once to inform them that there is no one here by that name. They didn't believe me, in fact spoke down to me like I was a child "fibbing".
It isn't worth wasting anymore time making any contact with these lovely bottom dwellers. Ignore them, have the number blocked, whatever. If you do have a debt and it is you they are after.....ignore them, have the number blocked.....
