This number is a collection agency, they've called repeatedly, first for someone we don't even know, and secondly for my husband about a debt that was non-existent and the fault of the business.

My bills are all paid.  I think they are looking for a family member who does not or ever has lived with me.

Robo call didn't ask for anyone by name, just stated 'we have important personal business to discuss with you". Call us back.

Collection agency for medical bills.

I don't owe any medical bills so I have never called them back because I am afraid of some kind of scam where they wil run up my phone bill or something. Has this happened to anyone. else.  

I have repeatedly recieved call from 888 861 6828 trying to collect a medical bill. I do not have any outstanding bills. Please advise me  how to get these calls stopped.

They claim to be a collection agency, but like others here, we don't have any outstanding debts, medical bills, etc.  But with some research, this is what I found.  The call is answered by a machine, saying it is APB Recovery and then a woman's voice identifies herself and asks you to call later or leave your name and number.  In searching for APB Recovery, I found two businesses in the same location (Panama City FL) using that name.  One is for the recovery of metals and the other is reportedly a repossessing service.  If you search that name, you'll get the address and non-800 number.

That definitely was not the name I received when I called them,and the only call back number they gave was the one they were calling from.  Interesting how they change things, isn't it?

More research because this has to stop.  ACB is the name of the parent company, but they hire people all across the country to make and take calls, as well as have a call center.  That means some people may be working from their own independent businesses (and homes). I receive these calls all day long stating they are from a debit collector. I don't owe anybody nor have past due bills. This is harassment. Why can't they be stopped!

Someone calls all throughout the day, but this one in the morning is 99 0/0 at the same hour and almost to the minute.  Great alarm clock!  This dates back ten years to a dispute I had with a company. The situation has changed hands from the original company who sold it to a collection agency which sold it and resold it and resold it... How stupid of them to pay money for a lead they have no idea is or is not valid.  By the way, I agree with the comment about numbers like this being traced to various phones around the country.  Seems to be a cottage industry.

This company calls and everytime I answer the phone, the person on the other end hangs up.  They call at all hours of the day and do the same thing.

Called Our House Everyday For the Past Couple Of Weeks. They Let It Ring 3 Times & Not Leaving A Message Every Time They Call. This Is Uncalled For!!!

They call about 10 times a day and hang up when I answer.  Today they left a message but who could understand them with their accent.  Added them to my blocked call list.

Thought this was a scam so I checked on here. The voicemail is the exact same as pisces chic63. Called the number last week and it has a message saying their representatives are busy and will be with you shortly. It went on for a bit then I hung up because it seemed like a scam. Got another voicemail today (like the 4th in a week) and did the same dance but talked to someone. They wanted to confirm an address before giving any info. Fast forward through me questioning the legitimacy, it was a legit bill for a heart monitor that I was unaware of and due to the medical office's failure, I never received a bill or results, not even a phone call. Mine SEEMS legit because I'm familiar with the situation, but still be mindful.
