I disconnected Comcast as well.  I called the number back and it is indeed them.  Maybe if they had paid this much attention to me when I was a customer I would still be a customer.

I called the number back, and it was indeed COMCAST.  They realized I had discontinued my service and were trying to give me a sweeter deal.

It's Comcast marketing. When you discontinue service, they call to
    1. find out why you discontinued service and
    2. they ask if they could set up their service in the place you are moving to.

I declined their offer and didnt give details about where I was moving to. I did ask the caller if he could help me with a date change in my service disconnection and he said I'd have to call customer service. He was in product marketing.

This number and a 410 number called me just minutes apart. I found they both belong to Comcast. I told Comcast 9 months ago I was unhappy with aspects of their service. I got a form email back. I sent another note telling them I wanted a supervisory level person to respond and no form response. No supervisory person contacted me and I got two form responses. Now they want to talk?Ha!

I disconnected my service with comcast last night after they changed my service without asking/informing me and causing me to pay over 200 dollars more/month. Then today I had 3 missed calls from this number. Very annoying.

I have also recently disconnected Comcast, so I assume that's who is calling.

Yes, it is Comcast calling.  They only care now that I have opted to disconnect cable.  Only goes to show that Comcast only cares about the customer once the business is lost.

The fact that they hasseled me when I called to cancel and are now calling me daily makes me even happier that I will no longer be sending them any money.

Same story here.  Comcast has the worst customer service of any company I have dealt with.  Now that I went with Direct TV we keep getting calls from this number.

My wife and I switched from Comcast to AT&T. When we took our cable box to the Comcast office, we noticed that they have a security officer in the lobby. Must be happy times with their customer service! Since then I have been getting the phone calls from them as well.

It was definitely Comcast. They called me tonight, when Verizon is coming tomorrow morning to hook up the new service. They tried to offer me a great deal, which was no deal at all. What I'm getting with Fios (TV and internet) is the same channels I had with Comcast and higher speed on internet... but at least $50 less. Good thing, cause Comcast's rates are increasing on April1st.

I also disconnected Comcast..."told them to take a hike". Was tired of bird doggin their bill every month and having to question them about every addition they made by themselves. Called uverse the same day...they had me hooked up the next day at almost half the price.

    Now that's service!!

I had Comcast for a while and never really had any billing issues, for a while. Once I moved everything changed. I had them out at my new place once a week for 4 weeks fixing issues. They tried sticking me with a $17 charge for the tech coming out and fixing the problem. I also got sick of being on hold for 30 minutes for simple issues. I talked my way out of those fees and then these calls started. I even gave them a chance to keep my as a customer and they never followed up with me on the offer they "pitched" to me. I have Uverse now with faster internet, higher quality HD, and a DVR. Best part, with all the new customer discounts, my bill is actually $10 cheaper per month and in six months it will only be $10 more.

Comcast calling D/C service with them, every month raised my bill. Gave me the hook rate for $109. Then kept increasing rate until it reached $173.

I requested for service cancellation yesterday, and today I get call from them, they trying to give me a better offer. While I declined, I have found that Verison is much cheaper than COMCAST, I only have a internet and basic TV service before, the price is $68/month, but the Verizon only need to pay $45 for a little more faster download speed than COMCAST...And I told them this, they try to give me a $48 offer of the same service which before is $68....WTF..See how they make money from you? Switch now!!
There is no AT&T internet service in my area ,so I only can choose Verizon.
