This group, debt collector:

Heston McClain is the group's agent.   McClain has a history of being an agent for a series of shady debt collection groups in the NY area.  This new groups looks like just another one of his Buffalo Bullies.  They are reproducing like rabbits in NY.

If you see Heston McClain's name on anything concerning a debt collection group it should be a flashing red light to you.

Their methods are harsh and they are usually rude and make a lot of empty threats.  Do not pay them any attention and do NOT agree to pay them any money.  They will somtimes threaten you with arrest (you can't be arrested for ordinary civil debt), they will say they are going to serve papers on you, (no legitimate process server notifies you in advance) and all sorts of other low-down and underhanded methods of getting you to pay them money.

Don't let them push you around.  If they have a debt against you demand a debt validation letter be sent to you by US mail.  E-mail no good.  Of course, they won't do this, so simply block their calls and ignore them.

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them.

Call states that I owe a credit card bill for 2004 and they sent a summons to my house, of course it was not my address. She emailed me the info, and has been calling me every day for a settlement balance of $504.00

Did you know that emails and phone calls  are NOT considered to be an official notification of debt?

IF she calls again, demand WRITTEN proof of this debt that is MAILED to you.  That is official notification.  She has  5 days to respond.  Expect excuses and possible illegal threats.  Also please check CWG40's post just above yours.  There is plenty of information there too.

I keep getting calls from a man threatening to be served a court summons but a Victoria Bradshaw I talked to says I can pay to put that off, 1st red light their calls conflict, 2nd  Victoria called leaving a message starting to call herself Lisa but hung up right before she completely said it. I haven't been harassed yet and I am standing my ground against  her because the debt she's trying to collect was included in my BK,  she insist otherwise but I have it in writing. I have been ignoring all calls but today I got a letter signed by a Ms Kayla Thomas which when Googled directed me to a list of warnings then to this site.

You shouldn't even be dealing with this.  Your bankruptcy attorney should be handling it.  That is what he got paid for.
