This number went one step further than just a call. A pop up screen came up on my computer after I loaded a piece of report formatting software, business related. This number was on a screen that stated they were the number to contact for help with the software.
I called and it was a scam--they even agreed they were the company on the software. The connect was bad and I could barely understand them so they took my number and called back, still stating they were the company on the software. It did not dawn on me unitl they told me they needed payment that they were not associated with the software I had loaded. Shame on these awful money grubbing company!!!

I'm having the same problem. We are both victims of intimidation ware. On my computer, SBAMsvc.exe may be infected with a virus. Also ssvagent.exe is  behaving strangely. My cpu is spiking at 100% at times. I don't know the solution for this problem at this time. I should probably try to make an image of my C partition, for possible use as evidence. We should both report these pukes to an appropriate law enforcement agency.

First, if you have Windows Defender installed, run that and see if it can remove this malware. If not, try Malwarebytes from Anti-Malware.  If neither of those work, you will need a professional support tech to thoroughly clean your system.
