People listen up! FTC don't do anything unless thousands yes thousands of reports about said numbers!
The best solution so far is to spam them back! Costing them time and money!
Post the phone numbers they call you from on something like craigs list.
Post the phone number as a free t.v or something.
I've also been told by a consumer they use prank calling websites to get some pay back!.
These bottom feeders will not follow FTC rules so have some fun.
    P.s
If they call from out of area numbers, answer the phone but don't talk.
Keep them on the line until they hang up.
Next call your local police and report the threats they just make to your life.
This will get things resolved ! Or at least  this  is what we here at the FTC have been told is working .
It's your word vrs their word! You have proof they have been calling an harassing.
The police will help you !

Do not know is calling but they let it ring off the hook, I do not turn on answering machine so they ring it until it want ring anymore. Sick of this, the dad blame Do Not Call list is worthless. They can ring it all day and never get anyone here. I do not now what they want because I do not owe anyone anything if it is a debt collector. Something has to be done about these annoying calls. Thanks.

This number is verified. It is First National Bank of Omaha, Visa credit card. They are calling you about a past due bill. If they have your number and you don't have a FNB of Omaha card, tell them to remove you from their list. It's an old number from the original debtor.

Got a call today on 12/23/16 from somebody who identified herself at "Joanna". Said she was from 1st Bankcard at American Savings Bank. I called Visa directly to see if anybody had gotten our cc info and was making unauthorized charges. Visa said to call my bank. This sounds bogus, as we do not know a Joanna, and the ID was "1-888-89309519" on the Caller ID or something to that extent. She was asking for me or my husband and mispronounced our last name. Never called back, since banks do not do business over the phone.

This number calls me about 10 times per day.  They say they are from the First National Bank of Omaha.  They actually leave messages on my phone machine.  If I pick up the phone to talk to them, there is actually no one on the line.
