- Mike replies to teri| 6 repliesGot $30 taken out of my account as well. I figured I would deal with the company before I got my bank involved. I called the 888-897-8045 number and they weren't open yet, but they said if I wanted immediate assistance to go to this website: http://www.consumersupportsection.com.
I went there and wrote them this message:
"My name is **********, and I am absolutely livid with your company right now. This is absolutely ridiculous. First, on December 2nd, I receive an e-mail for you guys saying that you signed me up for some service for which I never authorized you to sign me up for. In the e-mail, it said it was a trial membership and I would be charged after 30 days if I did not cancel. I sent an e-mail THE VERY SAME DAY saying that I do not know how I am signed up for this service as I never authorized it in the first place and to cancel any membership that I have. I have never ever heard of you guys let alone give you any of my bank information. Secondly, I was charged $30 yesterday for "this service" which was never authorized. I demand a refund. If you guys don't refund, I will pursue any legal action that I can which includes reporting a fraudlent charge to my bank, reporting to the local authorities, reporting to the FBI. Believe me, I've seen plenty of Internet postings about your company sayng they have been ripped off too. I don't know how you received my information consider yourself warned if I do not receive a refund."
Surprisingly, I got a response back the same day and my bank account was credited $30 the same day. - emalene| 1 replythey remove $30 from my account without my knowledge
- Caller: ez loan
- Shawn| 4 repliesHow did they pull the 30.00 from your account if they did'nt have your account info???
- KILEY| 2 repliesI had $30 taken out of my account today as well. I tried the website posted above and it does not exist. I haven't applied for any loans lately, so I don't know how I got this charge.
- Greg| 1 replyThe same thing just happened to me. I got $30.00 takened out of my checking account. It says it's for a Payday Loan Protection. I didn't sign up or authorize this. The bank on the check that was debited from checking account is Metro Bank. Their website is www.mymetrobank.com. The number on the unauthorize check is 888-897-8045. All you get is a recording which is to go to their website and fill out a complaint.
- NB replies to Mike| 2 repliesThe exact same incident happened to me on the 23rd. Thanks for your great explanation it will help me out allot when I contact them right now!
Nicole - Mike replies to NB| 1 replyUnfortunately, the website I listed above does not exist anymore for some reason. I got a letter from my bank (Bank of America) today regarding the $30. The letter said:
"To protect you, this item was not paid. Please call 800-317-6345 if you did not authorize it or if the item is valid please call 877-887-8935, thank you".
I didn't contact my bank about this incident. I guess they just suspected it was fraud. Originally I thought the company refunded my money, but apparently it was my bank rejecting the transaction. - milla replies to GregI had the samething happen to me today. i dont not know how these people got my information, but I will call my bank and not have anything authorized from them. I also need my overdraft fee back aswell. I called the customer service number and they never answer the phone. I will report this as fraud. This is sad that a company will do this to someone.
