    Called "Webshopee" at this number for a Facebook issue, they remotely connected to my computer and told me I had been hacked. They offered to fix the problem for $199. I disconnected and hopefully they didn't copy any personal info from my computer. I am guessing this outfit is a scam.

    Your computer was hacked all right. Right after they remotely connected to it. Run a full anti-virus and malware scan on it IMMEDIATELY. If you don't have any anti-virus software get Avast free A/V: www.avast.com

    Do it now.

    I called them and I asked to delete some old messages that I could not delete myself from my work fb page, we agreed on $99, as their phone conversation is being recorded, but Sam turned around and charge my card for $199.00, not ethical.

    see Sir Bedevere post above.. make sure you have no virus's etc on it. Call and dispute the charges with your bank or CC..     Also back that Avast up with Spybot Search and Destroy.. you can get both at filehippo..

    Next step, file complaints with the FTC and FCC..  not ethical indeed!

    I am also a Customer of Www.webshopee.us Company where in they provide the support on all technical issues which is a paid support. I was facing issues on my face book account on 07. 02.2013
    And I called this toll free number I am really happy with their support provided on that issue where in they have optimized my computer which gives me a feel of new and faster computer now a days, these technicians are well organized and works systematically  so I am happy because from now on I have Doctor for computers .......

    Hi, Bruce I called the same number almost a week ago and required some assistance related to my Hacked Facebook account and I got all the necessary services which I needed and also they provided me with some extra help in my PC issues...they got really Professional and Supportive technicians who were really patient with me throughout the complete call with all my issues and the problems I was facing.

    I called on this number 888-901-5314 on Aug15 2013 when I was facing some hacking issues with my FB account because my all the post and pictures changed automatically in last few days but after, I called web shopee technical support  I never faced the same problem again where I feel I am safe and secured now . Web shopee is a paid support where they were very transparent throughout the call and given all the details including invoice on my e mail address.
    I am happy after getting technical support for my 2 computers just in the cost of $249.99 where in I got unlimited support for complete 1 year. Great Techies, Great Work!!

    Sir Bedevere it seems that you are trying to promote AVAST antivirus or may be any other Brand here but whatever you get from internet by the name of security and comes free is not safe and not the complete security but yes complete security comes in a package with lowest cost of $100 just for one year.
    This also depends on the compatibility with Operating System.
    And it’s also Depends either any one can Afford the services or wants everything free …

    As a computer professional I have to say that AVAST (both the free and the premium versions) is one of the best pieces of computer protection software available.  Contrary to your statement, there are quite a few free or inexpensive (sub $100) computer protection software programs out there that out perform their more expensive competitors AND receive top ratings and reviews consistently.  Sir Bedevere gave excellent advice but you, Mr. Watson, may want to verify your facts before berating others in the future.
