- BillCalled on Memorial Day to try to steer me away from Commonwealth Edison. Believe call originated from India. Could not understand half of what he was saying. Scam all the way. Be careful. One day computer tech support and the next day something else.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Jack| 1 replyCalled and asked to talk to "Papa's Pizzeria" I think but it was hard to understand his accent. I told him "sorry wrong number" but he insisted to talk to me so I hung up on him.
- len rcalled June 1 - left no msg. most likely scam caller. did not answer. caller id only shows the number
- JulieJune 3, 2016: A man with middle eastern accent who I could barely hear and understand, called and said he was from Commonwealth Edison. He did know our property address. He kept telling me to get my ComEd bill so he could save me money on my electricity. I asked for his name and he replied Jordan. I told him we weren't interested in the savings program and he very aggressively told me to go get my bill and that is when I hung up on him. He has tried to call back and had called earlier today as well.
- Caller: Jordan from ComEd
- roger bryantcould not understand what he was saying I think it was about com ed

- Caller: TOLL FREE CALLER
- J. South Suburbs ILIf the call is from Com Ed. it will say that on your caller ID. Since I get a lot of these phone calls claiming to be from Com Ed. and claiming to need to verify my account number, I give them a fake number and hang up.
- Caller: don't know
- Call type: Prank
- Rick CMr. Number says this is another invalid number. So it is obviously a scam.

- S| 1 replyUnwelcome call on my unlisted land line @ 8:04 p.m. on 6/23/2016. There was no message left. I hate running to see who is calling. This is very annoying. I will block it, but really I can only block 250 calls and I keep getting 5-10 calls a day. This is crazy. Sometimes I delete a number from months ago only to have to re-block it. Some of them are the similar exchanges. Thank you for this site that helps us identify these spam callers.
- Caller: Toll Free Caller
- HoustonBob replies to SOff topicI had the same situation with my Panasonic phones. That and the fact that they had to wait for the caller ID to come through before hanging up was far too annoying to manage. I have since ported my number to a voip service (voip.ms) which among the many other features, has unlimited call blocking and does so before the phone ever rings. With the massive savings from that service, you can pick up an ATA, a box that connects your old phones to the voip service, and never look back (I got the Obi200). That ATA also works very well with google voice if you want to go completely free and still be able to block any number you like.
- Babe_blusSays they are a bill collector speaking with an overseas accent. I knew it was a phone scam right of the bat. They asked for a person who died 3 years ago. Then they insisted on wanting to talk to him. I had to tell them that he was dead 3 times before they got the message.
- LJCBlocked the call
- Caller: TOLL FREE
- InvestigatorXScammer calling to claim I owe a ComEd bill and they will shut off my power if I do not immediately pay the bill. When I told them I was not a ComEd customer (told him I had solar power) he told me he was with NiCor and I owed on my gas bill. I told him I did not have gas - I only use solar power he hung up on me. Bottom line - next time he calls I will insist they pay me for the solar power I'm giving the - and insist they purchase green dot cards and pay me immediately or I will shut down their power grid...
- Caller: "ComEd" / "NiCor"
