- OmarSaid they were from PSP investigations and needed to speak to someone "at this address" regarding an ongoing investigation. Said to either call the client directly at 888-925-9485 or to call him back at 720-316-7004.
Anybody know what this is? - Not Fooled| 1 replyLooks like this guy is busy of late. As others have stated, he was from PSD(maybe PSV, PSP or PSB...whatever) Investigations and needed to speak to someone at this address regarding an ongoing investigation. He was very official sounding and said to call his client directly at 888-925-9485 or to call him at 720-316-7004.
Doesn't fool me, I find it difficult to believe that there is an "ongoing" investigation at this address without my knowledge. He definitely has ulterior motives.- Caller: PSD investigations
- cbs| 1 replyThis guy was very threatening, did NOT give any information, but wanted it to sound official. I reported this to the BBB, and I filed a suit against him for harassment.

- APRIL| 2 repliesThis guy called me about a debt on a credit card saying they are from CSI Investigations, saying that they had sent out letters to 5 previous addresses listed for me (none of which I've received anything from them at) and saying I had to pay this amount of almost 1200 or they would be putting a lien on me for any future purposes, or could take it involuntarily through wage garnishment or any bank accounts I may have if I didn't pay it. They asked me for a few bits of information such as how much money I make a month, and how much I have to pay in bills, and said it would take about 2 minutes to enter it into the computer to see if "they" will accept a settlement. Sure enough in about 2 minutes he was back on the line saying it was accepted and I could either make 2 payments this month, of a little over 200 each or 1 payment within 24 hours of 413 and it would be settled. I wanted them off my back so I told them to give me their contact info and I would call back tomorrow and pay it via card or check by phone. I find it suspicious that this so called debt is from 2007 and I am just now getting threatened with it, yet I have received NOTHING on paper at all for all these years. Also, not long after I talked to them my grandmother called me and said a Ryan Taylor had called from that same number threatening her saying that I had an appointment with them and if I did not keep it within 24 hours I they were sending someone out to arrest me tomorrow. That's what the Larry Waters guy had told my stepmother when he gave her the phone number for me to call. Also I spoke to a man named Ken Reynolds because "Larry Waters" was on a conference call. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE INFORMATION OR MONEY. IT IS A SCAM!

- AnnoyedWas visiting a friends workplace when a call came in for me with a woman requesting a meeting with my friend about an investigation regarding me! She gave my friend a case number and when my friend she wouldn't give out any information to this woman, she said to have me call the 888-925-9485 number and refer to the case number so they could set up an interview with someone else. Really? After reading all of your entries here, there is NO WAY I'm calling this number! Good luck PSV Investigations! Not getting any response from me!

- susan bMy mother just received a call from this company, very threatening in fact she doesn't know if she should call the police. Same as other posts PSV investigations calling threatening then hangs up says to call back at the 710 number. When you call back you get a recording that hangs up on you. After a few tries got through to 888 925 9485, they said it was a collection call for a person that we never had heard of. Wanted then to know our relationship to him when I advised not to call again harassment and that we did not know this person, he slammed the phone down. Has anyone had any success in getting this guy to cease and should I be calling the police?

- DJI just received this same message but from a Steven Rogers from PSV Investigation verification department about an asset and location investigation for my daughter. It said to "cancel or suspend this investigation to call their client directly at 888-925-9485 within 24 hours. If no call back within 24 hours an investigator would be scheduled out regardless of our cooperation." What the heck??

- sick of these callsi have received several messages so decided to call back. the person who answered was a complete jerk and talked to me like i was a complete criminal. i asked him a simple question "what is the address you have on file" and he got completely ignorant and nasty and told me that info was irrelevent. i argues with him for several minutes then asked for someone above him and he said no hes the manager. then he said he was going to take his info to his boss and have a suit brought against me. i asked if i could talk to his boss and he said hell no. after several attempts of asking him to not be so nasty, i had to hang up. not sure what the deal is. he's also called my boyfriends parents, my ex-husbands family, and even my supervisor at work.

- lkblonde007| 4 repliesI will validate that THIS IS NOT A SCAM. I had received and ignored several calls from PSV Investigations, until today. Due to suspicions, I googled the company name and found this site, and finally decided I would call them back to see just exactly what this was all about.....telling me an investigator is going to come to my house?! I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Ken Reynolds. He was very polite and explained everything very thoroughly. They are an information gathering company for debt collection. In my situation, they are collecting for Walmart.
My advice would be to cooperate with these people before you wind up in court with a judgement against you!!!!! They are willing to try to settle with you, but if you are unable, they CAN AND WILL file a judgement.- Caller: PSV Investigations

- LegalKnowledge replies to PSV InvestigationsTo the "investigator" who takes his or her job "seriously": perhaps you should do some research on the legal way to attempt to locate an individual on a matter that supposedly is in regards to debt collection. If you call a residence and that person tells you that they do not know the person you are looking for or that the person does not live there, it is against federal law to continue making calls to that number. I have been on the receiving end of this bs, and I know for a fact I am NOT a hard individual to find. Additionally, there are statute of limitations in effect...seriously, you think you can scare me into paying some bogus "debt" from over 10 years ago without giving me any information to validate that claim?! You are out of your mind! Unfortunately, it must work on some people otherwise you wouldn't continue doing what you do. I'm filing a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office of Consumer Protection tomorrow. There are also civil court remedies available to all who have been made a victim of this practice..i suggest everyone seek out information and take action. Together we can make a difference!
