Says he has a file with my name on it

Same thing... some androgynous voice saying he has a file for me and has attempted to contact me numerous times...Bulls**t, this is the first time I am hearing from him/her.

Calls for someone who does not live at my number and never has. Demands a call back.

Calling for someone who does not live at my number. She demands a call back whether she has reached the number incorrectly or not.

Keeps calling and asking for a call back.  Very mysterious- wants you to be alone and not overheard by anyone else. How did they get a name for that number???

They call themselves a company that collects debts and they say they have also expedient under your name they say that if you do not answer they assume that you are the person they're looking to take you to court ....I am not that person!
 Is this legal?Is this harassment?

This company says if you are not the person that they are looking for you should call 1888 779 7090.
I am not the victim that this company is looking for but,who is going to pay a debt without a job?

It is a debt collection agency that is associated with Dell Financial and Dell Computers.  They call a lot and at times can be rude.  I've even had them hang up on me when I couldn't make arrangements to pay at the time of the call.  Check your state laws about creditors and debt collectors.  Many states do not allow these types of calls at your workplace.  Hope this helps.

This number kept calling one of my relatives...So I did some homework to help her find out who this company is...I wanted to let you all know that this company is a debt collection agency called SRA Associates...they buy your contact information from big banks or whoever is after you and go after people who have gove through foreclosure, etc. Trying to collect money on a foreclosed property is not a legal act...please consult your attorney immediately or call free legal aide in your county to address these type of calls.

SRA Associates calling with pretty much what has been posted above.  I just ignore them.  We will see how long it takes for them to realize they have the wrong number.  I just let it go straight to voice mail.

Call each day, at  the same time. This is SRA on a recorded line. At first we answered; they asked for my wife by name, We told them to stop calling us, take us off their lists.   . They still keep calling every day.   We finally blocked them and reported them for Harassments

They call daily,  never leave a message,  when I answer I hear a bunch of other people talking in the background,  obviously some kind  of fraud scam whatever.
