Received a call from 1-888-944-2467 today on January 21st, 2013. Guy said he wanted to talk to the owner about updates to Canada Labour Laws. Said his name was Tim White. Really in a hurry to get off the phone. Fishy.

called about Canadian Labor Laws in Manitoba. His name was Ed Myers.

Received a voice message from a Frank Thomas wanted to know about the company's Labour Law postings!

Received a call today this morning... seemed weird was ready to place an order for new posters and sent me to the processing person.  Call from Frank Thomas.  I said I would call them back.  Said the company name was Quality Assurance.

A man called from this number and said it was regarding Labour laws in BC and wanted to speak with a manager, seemed unprofessional.

Got a message to call regarding "new updated postings for the workplace health and safety and WCB mandated posting". Yah... I won't be calling him back!

Received a weird call from Frank Thomas at this number asking for the owner of the company and he needed to make sure we were compliant with posting OH&S in the common staff area or we'd be cited. I asked whether he was calling from a government agency or if this was a private corporation and he said private. I asked him what he wanted from me and he just kept asking if our posters were up and that we'd be cited from Labour Standards Occupational Health and Safety due to the new regulations. He kept asking who was in charge and did they do this. I asked him what he wanted from me/our company and he said he just needed to talk to the owner about this concern about being cited for not posting Labour Law information and Occupational Health and Safety guidelines and information about minimum wage on our common area bulletin. I said we have all this in our policy manuals and he said that wasn't good enough and to have the owner call him and gave the 888-944-2467 number. I asked what he wanted from me and he said something about referrals regarding insurance companies checking up on client compliance for policies or something. Very odd. Does not sound legit at all. Cold Call for sure. Not from Canadian Government Agency.

Most likely a scam that sends you a poster or something that costs nothing from the government but they send you an invoice for it.  Similar to the paper scam guys who get your mailing address then send you a case of paper at like 3 times the cost claiming that permission was given over the phone to send out the paper when all you did was give them your business address.

Received a message from this guy named Kelly Clarke this morning, he wanted to speak to the admin manager about updating the Canada Labour Law posters.

Received a message from Kelly Clarke. Same as all of the above. It's some sort of telemarketing or scam.

Same here. Not sure which guy but he acted like a know it all and tried to make you feel like you should already know him.

Received a call from Logan Cook - very adamant he needed to speak to the owner about Labour Law Posting requirements - not calling back

Don't! It's a scam. They tell you all about the labour posters you have to have by law, & then sell them to you very expensive. What they don't tell you is you can get the posters from the Government for free.

Received a call from a Mike Green, regarding Labour Law etc. He left a message, very unprofessional.
