left a message at my job, no name, no company name was mentioned  stated that they've tried contacting me several times, i didn't get back to them.  something about due diligent mentioned a case#.  to call back at this number 888-968-3639.  if this is about debt, how come i haven't received any letters/notices in the mail? i called back this number and a recording mentioned Camden & Meyer. i looked them up and there's nothing

Same MO as the other people who received the call.  They called my house looking for someone with my wife's first name , but an incorrect last name.  They go throught he drill about you didn't return their previous calls, can't undersatnd why you do not want to resolve this issue, etc.  It was camden amd Meyer and after numerous searches there were no records that i could find to tell you who or where these people were from, so filing a complaint with the FTC.

These people contacted my sister and left a message.  She returned their call and they couldn't find why they called and said they would call back.  Called back today trying to reach me.  Told her they were issuing a warrant for my arrest and needed to talk to me immediately.  When I called, they acted surprised that I had not been approached in person within the past 24 hours.  I listened to what the guy had to say about why he was calling me.  It was from a payday loan back in Feb. 2008.  Said they were going to be issuing warrant for my arrest if I didn't pay in full today.  When I explained I could not pay today, he got upset and started trying to make payment arrangements and would not do anything until I gave him my debit card information.  I DID NOT give him any information.  I contacted an attorney of my own and was told they had no way to do this.  It was being used as a scare tactic.  They guy would also not give me any information for me to verify that this was a legitimate debt against me.

Got a call this morning from an "unknown" caller, so I did not answer it.  It went to voice mail, saying that this was so and so from National Process Servers and that they had tried to serve me papers at my home and would next try to serve me at my place of employment.  If I wanted to discuss the case number, I could call Camden and Meyer to discuss it with them.  I did not call, but looked at the posts here when I got home. No one served me at work, by the way.  Just another scam with the usual scare tactics.  Thanks everyone for posting.  It helps the rest of us to sort through these scammers and to know that we should not be worried about these nuisance calls.

I received another call from them both on my cell and my home #.  I'm calling back today to see what this is about.

They can kiss my A**. They stop for a little while, then start again. I do not owe nobody any bad checks or anything. They don't scare me, I'm ready for a fight. They do not even leave the legal description they are suppose to say when they are collecting a debt right there they can be reported and they have to eat the charges if any of the ones that they claim people owe them.

I almost fell for it to, then checked my credit report.  Nothing on it, bunch of [***].  Dont fall for any of these tactics, it is their job and they are good at it!!

Someone called from Out of Area number saying they had a social security number that had been compromised and that they were trying to serve someone.  Said to call Camden and Meyer.  888-968-3639

I received a call from 888-968-3639.  Saying they tried serving me at my home and would try work.  Said to call Camden and Meyer.  Gave me a case #.  They cannot arrest you for this.  Received legal information and they cannot arrest you.  They are using scare tactics.

Same senerio as all the above.  Would not give me the name of the company that I suppossedly owed and even told me I had to go to court to find that out. Had called my mother and my sister in another state to say that they had stopped by my house and no one was there.  They were going to come to my work tomorrow.  I have received several calls of this same type - all on or about payday - stating the same thing..  I cannot find Camden & Meyer when I did a search for this company.  BAD thing is - I gave them my debit card # to start making payments and even told them that I didn't think I had any outstanding loans/checks.  They would not/could not give me the name of the company that I supposedly owed and even told me that I would have to go to court to find that out.

The charge that showed up on my bank acct was to an IKON GROUP, Las Vegas, NV.

Just got a call from John Thompson from Camden and Meyer National Process Servers. Gave me a case number to return a call. could not give me any information.

A guy by the name of Dan Adams said that he was a national processor and that he had been to my home to serve me but I was not there so he is going to come to my work to serve me.  He stated a case# to refer to and an 888-968-3639 number to call back at.  I know that this is a Scam because he did not go to my home...it is a lie because when you do not respond to them on the first call they will say that they tried to serve you...I heard other people in the background scamming other people.  Also, he sounded like he was reading from a script on what to say..He said that they were going to try and reach my contacts...this is illegal because they can not discuss anything with family or your employer about your personal business..I give them an "F" in customer service and an "A" in stupidity.

Same thing happened to me.  Did you stop them from taking payment from your debit card.  I called an attorney and they said this is a scam.  I told them to take $ out at 3:00 p.m.  was goign to make sure I had funds in account, now I won't.

I have decided I will call my bank and have them stop them from accessing my account.   They scared me and I am glad I read all your posts.

they can kiss my ass..they go toll free number now.  I got calls back in december for the same thing.  I'm getting tired of this stupid scam.

They are at it again.  Called me this morning saying they were at my home to deliver papers.  Said I have until 2:00 p.m. to call today or they will serve me at work.  I contacted the FBI and my States Attorneys office.  They say there are scammers.

Got a garbled message left on my voicemail.  It sounded like they were reading from a script at a telephone mill.  "This is [long pause], garbled, [long pause] brother in law's name [long pause] tried serving at home, will serve tomorrow at the job, etc."  Ummm, no, bother in law doesn't live here so, go ahead, try serving him here!!!  Does anyone know where to report these scammers that would do any good?

Yea I got a call from a  National Process company to  thought it was a scam payday loan collection office . So I ignored it then I actually got served yesterday as soon as I got home ! for a payday loan I couldn't believe this sh*t!  Now I have to take a day off work to go to court .Tried calling the Camden office and a guy said my case is moved out of their office and they couldn't help me settle my bill. No telling how much it will cost me now.  Anyone no a good attorney I'm in Sacramento California?

They are a scam company.  I have called the FBI and Attorney General office.  They are scammers.  I don't believe anyone got served papers.  If you owe anyone a debt when they call they say this is a debt and ablah, blah, they never say anthing like that.  Don't believe them!
