Calls and leaves a message that he received a fax about some kind of a case and says I have officially be served.  Leaves the return number and a case number.  No idea what this recording and/or person is talking about.

I am getting the same call. I spoke with my sister who is an attorney and the sheriff's office because they keep saying they are going to serve me papers and such. The sheriff said if it was a legit case they would notify the court and the court would have them (the sheriff's office) to serve me. They both told me that it was illegal for them to threaten me like they have been doing. I was advised that under no circumstances was I to give them any bank information or anything and that if it was a valid debt that it would be gone about it the legal way. Do not fall for itI It is a scam!

Caller called stated legal action pending against me stating "you have been notified you will be served"  As previous comment states, they do not call you to tell you are going to be served by the Courts.   Do not even waste time calling these people back.   Problem is, they call your family members as well!!!!

these idiots keep calling and when I called back twice some ghetto sounding idiot says Mrs. Bradley hold and then never returns. This is illegal and it needs to stop. I'm tired of lazy people always trying to scam someone get a F**** Job

I am getting these calls at my work #....and when I speak to someone to ask them to stop calling and remove my work #, some VERY, VERY rude idiot wouldn't even let me get a word in edgewise!!!!   Yeh...sounds ghetto for sure!!!!  To put it nicely!!!!

Same song and dance here.  The man I spoke to was very belligerent after I stated FDA laws and their volations.

Message left at place of my employment.  Caller advised that call was in reference to "Civil Matter" involving Julius Bryant Jr.

Yesterday these people called me threatening to serve me. They were rude and had very little knowledge of FDCPA because if they did they would know that the tactics they used are illegal. I will be reporting them to the CFPB.

This has gotten so out of hand, these scammers are calling work, relatives, friends...I have no idea how they are getting my friends cell phone numbers. They say they are going to serve papers, but here's the truth: If someone is going to serve you papers, they serve you papers, they don't warn you first, they don't call you for weeks beforehand, they don't call your friends and family...they just straight up serve you. I just filed a police report, so hopefully they can do something. Imagine if these people put forth this kind of effort in a legitimate REAL job.
They claim you owe money, but refuse to say to whom, they make up some creditor that they have no contact info for and cannot put anything in writing. They bully you into making some kind of payment to "hold off being served" and that's how they make their money. Once they have your information, you're done, they'll rob you blind.

I got the same call about 20 minutes ago. Little do they know, I work for a court and I know the law. What these people are doing is illegal. If you receive a call please file a police report them to the CFPB (CONSUMER FINANCIAL PROTECTION BUREAU) www.consumer finance.gov.

I work for the court system and this is illegal, and they try to terrorize people all the time. Ignore them. they say they have court papers...they dont...and the sheriff knows where to find you if he needs you, these people are scam artists and zombie collectors.....

Got a voicemail from a robotic voice claimed a civil case against me and my buisness, case # 1234***...
Lamest scam yet!!!  Get a life and a job that isn't prank calling with attempt a at a niece handout..
This is my cease and desist notice with plenty of witnesses.  I request you do not contact me by any means or third parties including phone, email, postal mail, websites, tweets, likes, comments, tags, text msg., telegram , in person or any other means of communication.  Call me again and I'll gladly give you my lawyers number so he can inform you of your court date if need be.
