Just got a call from them, no msg left

I just got a call from this number couple of times this week. They don't leave a message.

I got a call from this number this morning. I answered and all I could hear was a mans voice kinda mumbling in the back ground with a woman (who sounded as if she was probably holding the phone) saying i know i know i know and then the call ended.

Rang once and then stopped, second time in 2 days

This is a scammer call. These FREAKS know they are bothering us. SICK-OF-IT !!!!!! The Nat'l Do-No-Call registry seems to be a joke. I get 50 calls a day from SCAMMERS trying to get me to buy into a money-making scam website. BEWARE.  Don't give any info. I have gotten the callers name, location, and their phone #, then I tell them THEY OWE ME $50,000.00 and their info is going to my Attorney. They have 5 days to send the cashier's check or charges are filed against them. They stop calling from that #. Then I get calls from similar area code #'s and it just keeps going. Something need to be done about these SCAMMERS. I'm absolutely SICK-OF-IT !!!!!!!!!

I get a phone call from this number almost everyday, if I answer they hang up, when I call back.. It is a wireless number that is not in service.

got a call from this number...when i told them i was not comfortable giving them my current address they hung up

I missed a call from this number, so I called them back. On the other end was a woman letting me know that i'm a finalist in a drawing for $25,000 (if only that were the truth!) She then continured to ask me for my information (name, age, address, etc.). She then told me that I'd be receiving a bunch of free magazines in the mail, a few minutes later she told me that the magazines are actually $3.95/mo. How annoying. I'm pretty sure they got my phone number from my debit/credit card company bc she asked me questions about the service provided by my debit/credit card holder.

Every day I get a call from this #..sometimes twice. They don't answer when I call back. Its so irretating.I wish I knew where they were cause they would certainly get a visit....jim

Multiple calls the last few weeks. No message left.

I get 2 calls a day with no on the other side and no message

Got a call from this number on my corporate line, and they were calling from "Ohio" and I was eligible to receive $25 gift cards to walmart, etc. Then I hung up.

They call every day for months now but I don't answer.... maybe 30 calls or so at this point.  
The ringer is set on very low so we can't hear the phone ring unless I am in the room.
We use our cell phones mostly.

These people need to be stopped.

A friend works for the phone company said the phone number is spoofed.
He is putting a tracer on the originating caller since the phone number is spoofed.

Once identified, they are going to send the Police to pay them a visit.... when they least expect it.

I've gotten 3 to 4 calls ...
only once..like he said   mumbling,, and a poor attempt at BF's name..Calling PH CO Now!!!!

I just sent them on a wild goose chase with all the wrong information. Ha! LMAO. Dumbells

I keep getting calls from this number and they are very harassing. I have no idea who they are, who they want or why they are calling as I never answer calls with no id on them and especially if they dont leave a message even though I have an answering machine. They let it go to the machine then just hold it and I feel that is very deliberate because they do it every time they call.

a real pain but someone hase to work and pay taxes shame there not makeing it off me

Just ignore 888-995-6550. Its a 'active number' confirmation scam.
Companies like AARP sell your phone number to anyone who will pay, to find out if your number is 'active', for future
inclusion onto their 'sucker list'. They could care less who they sell it to and for what purpose.
It's not about what they're selling, the fact that you answered is enough.
The best thing to do is answer, then hang up immediately. That way, they pay for the call and get nowhere.
If they call you often and get nowhere, that'll cost them $; but you have to pick up, say nothing, then hang up to cost them.
After a while they'll give up spending time and money on your number.

Legitimate businesses don't hide behind untraceable phone numbers. Don't pick up any calls that you don't recognize.
The national DO NOT CALL REGISTRY is a complete farce. They have NEVER prosecuted anyone, EVER.

We will never put a stop to this as long as we keep stacking Congress with the gutless worms we have in government.
Sure they talk BIG, and that's pretty much all you'll ever get from them. BIG TALK, no action.
