calling from Omaha office

All these places are scams and should be shut down,but that will never happen. They call for something you never did,have,said. They are rude,nasty little people that have no education so they work for these places.

Get a call daily from this 888-999-0742 and I don't recognize it and so therefore I won't answer an unknown phone #!! Don't know who this # belongs too but they won't reach me.  I have a lot of health issues and I don't need unwanted calls!! So if the person(s) or company(s) using this # reads this response, just know I won't answer!

I get calls from this 888-999-0742 but noone is on the other end.  It's an automated generated call. So now I don't answer it cause I don't know who it is.  According to website it is a scam company!!!! Callers beware!

These guys have been calling daily and never leave a message.  I have sent a letter advising West Asset Management to validate the alleged debt in question and to not contact via phone as it is inconvenient to conduct any financial business over the phone, yet the calls continue daily along with 8+ calls a day from an "unknown" caller.  I am currently keeping a log of all of their calls that come up with this number to submit to my attorney if this harrassment continues.  To date, their agency has not been able to validate the debt as their "validation" consists of a computer printout of an alleged credit application supposedly submitted online that is dated prior to when their client even offered the type of credit card in question - apparently, since they can't prove the debt, they're resorting to brute intimidation and harrassment - too bad they don't do their research otherwise they'd see that 1 - their client obviously has flawed records and 2 - that I've already sued collection agencies for this very same thing in the past.  Bottom line - if you're contacted by these guys - do your research and be sure to protect your rights because they apparently don't like playing by the rules.

This number calls me 6 or more times a day. Today I got two calls within a hour. When I do answer therse calls I get a phone ringing and then a recording saying please hold. Weird this company acts like I called them . I have waited as long as 10 minutes and have never spike to anyone.  I tried calling the number and got the same recording when I answer a call they made to me.

Got a call yesterday and she asked for me by name then asked me to confirm my address, asked who she was and what this was about and she kept repeating me to confirm in some way I was the person she was looking for, we went round and round then I hung up. This morning they called me and I picked up and they had hung up. Definitely a scammer.

Got a call from this number today - somehow it slipped by my 'Call Reject' list.  They did leave a vague message without identifying the company.  I masked my caller ID and returned the call and DID verify that it is West Asset Management.

West Asset Management freely breaks FDCPA as well as Texas debt collection laws.  We requested validation in writing 7 months ago (got back green card as proof of delivery) after months of harassing phone calls.  NOTHING was EVER sent to in in response.   About 5 months ago the calls started again almost daily.  I have been taking pictures of my caller ID and will be forwarding these to my attorney.
