Not legit if the mail they sent does not disclose that this is a sales promotion for magazine subscriptions and that you do not receive the gift unless you subscribe.

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Report your callers here, not just to the DNC alone:

    https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-1
    https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088.action
    https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Its a scam we received a letter saying we had to call or we'd forfeit the chance to win millions. My mother called and they were trying to sell her magazines and kept asking for her credit card information and when she said ok let me clear this with my lawyer the lady said no its ok whatever you do dont do that and hung up.

I received the letter today. Probably a scam but they do have to reveal who one the drawing. You don't have to answer this unless you chose to. When thecrep asked if i had an mc visa or discover card told her no. She said they don't take amex and disconnected the call. None of their business what cards i have. Be selective on what solicited mail you respond too.

Any legitimate company that is not playing games by mail would have a legitimate Return address on the envelope and also legitimate identification on their request to call them! Just throw the letter in the garbage and forget about it! These scams are running rampant preying on those who are naive and uninformed. So sad!!

The information about the prize refers to Pubisher Clearing House. Is PCH SELLING MY INFO? I knew it wasn't legitimate because it is a mass mailing not personalized or registered or even requiring a signature. Spam toss it.
I didn't get a call just a letter with the subject phone number.

National Magazine Exchange, Suite 150,Seminole FL 33777-1306 is the preferred US Post Office Address. Largo FL is a recognized city name for this US zip code. They say, in their letter that they will try to sell you magazines if you call them. National Magazine Exchange has been in business for years. (or, at least, I have been getting their letters for a LONG time). Why the PO Box? Well, maybe they live on a Rural Route  ( #9) and get mail on the Postman's  way home for the day. ( elot 0309) is close to his last stop. Letters to the PO Box would arrive when they picked them up. PO Box mail is generally in the box by 10 am. Possibly PO Box letters would get processed before the street address mail arrived.
