They hung up. It's a scam call!

This is one of those old Indian SCAM calls pretending to be the IRS saying you owe taxes you don't and trying to extort money out of you. Don't fall for it.  Hang up on them and block the call.

This person said his name was kevin, and he worked for he Federal Government and wanted 7000 dollars and my credit card number. I laughed and called him a doosh bag and Said get real man. I told him I was going to report him and he hung up. Called back again and I SAID the same thing and he hung up. I'm so sick of people trying to get money out of us hard working Americans. Oh by the way he was Indian and a dirt bag.
Sorry I'm a little pissed off and sick to my stomach.

Called twice first time hung up without saying anything second time he sang to me in a different language then hung up.

I continue to receive what appears to be fake and fraudulent calls from callers who barely speak English.
The say they are calling from the US Gov. Dept of Grants, with whom I have not business or interest.
After repeatedly asking them to stop calling, they continue.

I keep getting a call from this number on my cell. I don't answer it because it's such a weird number to begin with.

They keep calling my landline and just hang up when it rolls to voice mail.  They call back, over and over again.

I got a call from this number and I heard a lot of voices n the background with heavy accent. I told them right away I didn't want to buy anything and I hung up quickly.  I dialed the number to see how they were going to answer and the call would not go through.  It might be from overseas.

Today I believe had a duplication of your experience, at least according to your description.
The caller addressed me by my first name and spoke with a heavy accent, perhaps Southeast Asian.
My immediate response was silence, followed by an inadvertent chuckle as I repeated the name of the "agency ".  Then I hung up as the man repeatedly said " Excuse me, ma'am, are you there?".
I blocked the number right away , though I wouldn't be surprised to receive more calls from the " Federal Grant Agency" originating from a different number.
I'd received about 8-10 calls from this number over the previous 3 days and ONLY answered because I began to be concerned that the calls might be of some import due to their frequency.
Lesson learned!

Just blocked this number.  Called me twice in a half hour.  Wouldn't leave a message.

This Indian person calls and says to me, "that my name and phone number was randomly selected to win a 7,000 dollar grant from the ARRA program that Obama issues in 2009" I said wasn't interested and they hung up, but like other callers I knew it was a scam because I heard people in the background, doing other phone calls like they were in booths. They called back 9 times today, blocked number after the 3rd time.

Today, I received two calls from this number about an hour apart. Never left a voicemail message. I looked it up on Google and found out that it's a scam and fraudulent.
