They left no message, caller ID displayed "NAME NOT FOUND"

I got a call from this number today and no one was there when I picked up. Hours later, they called back. The woman asked for someone I have never heard of before. When I told her she had the wrong number, she asked if anyone in my house had diabetes. I said, "No." Then she asked if anyone uses an assistive device, such as a cane, a walker, or a scooter. I said, "No." She thanked me for my time and said goodbye. I should have asked her to take me off her calling list! Oh, well. I'm sure they will call back... even though I am on the National Do Not Call List also.

Just got one.  Had one other day about diabetes.  I suppose if you say yes, you will get charged for something.  Something went around before that was the scam.

Been getting this call daily for a while.  I never answer the phone when caller ID shows "unavailable" caller.  I am registered on national DO NOT CALL list but many quasi-charities (my definition of private companies doing "fund raising" for legitimate charities) are exempt from DNC I guess.  Even so, harassing me on the telephone will not get them any donations.

Just started getting calls today from this number.  Beginning in afternoon, called about every hour.  Wasn't home but they didn't leave any message.  Sometimes there is a "1" in front of number.  That possibly means the number is being "spoofed"  i.e. other numbers being used but that is not the actuall number that is calling you.  A way to avoid a recorded message if you want to answer, is to say "Good morning"  (afternoon, etc.)  Their messages start off when you say "hello."  Thqt might give yopu a clue as to the type of call it is.  Even if it is a legitimate call, you have not turned off a friend or potential customer if you are in business.

They call several times a day, I never answer and they never leave a message..must not be too important..the 899 area code may be from mexico according to a web search.

Got a all from this number while away; no message left; web says this is a number from Mexico.  I don't answer calls from 800 area codes.  They are almost always someone wanting money or a scam.

I've been receiving similar calls from the ADA.   This number started calling when I asked the people diabetes people to stop calling.

Same calls every 1/2 to 3/4 hour around dinner time...3 yesterday and many b-4

Have gotten about 8 calls from this number, they do not leave a message and they call multiple times a day.  I too checked and found the 899 is from Mexico.  How can we block this number?

i mean sign up for google voice (free in the usa) and you can block any number !

I get calls from this number several times a day every day.  No caller ID.  I don't answer and they don't leave a message.  Hopefully they'll get tired of calling and move on to their next victim.

They call numerous times a day, every day, even after I have told them no one in our household has diabetes.  Also told them that we are on a no-call list, and if they call again, we were going to sue them!  I am currently undergoing cancer treatment, and the last thing I need to do is get up out of bed and run to answer the phone numerous times a day when it is this type of phone call.  Sometimes no one there at all, other times a woman with a foreign accent asking if anyone in the household has diabetes.

I have gotten hundreds of calls from this number, I can not seem to find a way to get it stopped.

I called this number back after it had called my cell phone several times...it says it is disconnected or no longer in service....

They said this was a follow-up call since i had reported someone in the family had diabetes.  I said nobody does and i told you this before. Do not call.  Caller ID read "name not found"

It is extremely annoying to have to screen calls to my blocked number.  It would be nice to be able to expect a friend, family member or business associate when answering the phone.  No MORE!  The number of these junk calls keeps growing from numerous numbers.
