When I answered there was no one on the line. Called the number listed and after a couple of rings someone answered and said good by.

Got a call from 901-313-3214 and they said they are giving away security systems and hung up

Against my better judgement I answered, then they hung up. Que Sera, Sera

This was a call that came to my home and I did not catch the call.  I called back and recording said goodbye.  

number called and no one on the other end.  call went on for 10 seconds.  

they call here every few weeks. i have an answering system, and  they don't leave any message.

Answered call since it was from my area code. Instant hang up. Adding to my blocked number list.

They hide the identity, I don't answer even though I was tempted since it was a Memphis area code where I also reside.

Caller said he was from Vehicle Protection Center.  Asked a few general questions and then said he would transfer my call.  The phone continued to ring then was hung up.

They advise me that my warranty is nearing the end and are giving me a chance to renew....They have called probably twenty times since November of 2014.  I told them to stop calling me.  I told them to put me on their do not call list.  I have even asked to speak to a manager.  They either hang up immediately or make some rude comment and then hang up.  If I knew where they were calling from I would beat the caller with a bat.

They asked for me by name and spoke very quickly. It sounded like they said a law office name but hung up. I tried to call them back but the recording said "good bye".

I called the number back and it says goodbye

Caller ID "out of Area"  The number is local for me with an area code of 901.  After two hellos, the caller answered.  Unable to under stand what the caller was saying.  I asked a couple of times for the name of the company and where  they are located.  The caller hung up.  Another number for call block.

If you don't recognize the number on your Caller ID, then don't answer.  Some oft these calls may be to find out if your number Is a valid number.  When you pick up and answer, you are confirming the phone number is a working number.  They will either talk to you or call back later.

Caller, Jason" said that his company is in the area and can update my security system. Told me my system has not been updated for 3 years ( not correct) and began to tell me that burglars cut phone lines.  I called the number back and I never heard it ring-- just silence.  Definitely a scam.

CLAIMED to be with a security system company.

Caller is female stating name as Maria Sanchez, if understood, since very low speaking, and stated is a case representive for something and gave a case number, then threatened,  if I did not respond someone may knock on my door or come to my employment!
