Got an original phone call from 916-395-0000 who identifies himself as Ian Bishop with Federal Criminal Idnetity and states I owe $525.00 on a payday loan.  If I do  not submit the money right away than they will take legal action against the address of my property.  I was asked to call him back on 901-313-8389.  I have had at least 20 calls from these individuals who have used several different phone numbers.  They will not produce any paperwork or evidence of the loan until the loan is paid off.

I have recieved the same phone calls and said i owed 500.00 that was sent to my account and that i would be put in jail for 31 days he then stated that he could have a plane land in to my house with in 30 min. This is a scan and they are wanting more information and more account numbers.

when i got the call he said he was officer dan white looking for a friend of ours . what makes me mad is made it sound like the police officer not a loan officer .

I also recieved a call today from this number. The man gave the name Charles Boyd and stated that he was from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and was looking for a friend of mine. He gave me the number to pass on to her and stated that she has to get the message because they are getting ready to file charges against her because she owes money to them. He then stated that it is in my best interest to give her the message.

Getting same call,stating i am going to jail if i dont pay,its a scam.Them pakastains not from no Bueru of Criminial Idenftication.

I received a call from this guy as well but didn't realize until I sent this idiot money. However, I didn't give him personal info. Also, didn't send total amount this guy was asking for. Anyone else receiving such calls should know that law enforcement agencies are not in the habit of collecting money, business refer that service to collection agencies.

Can barely speak English, can't understand them, threatening my bf and now calling his Mother saying he is in trouble with the law. She is all stressed now and freaking out, can't find or understand their supposed company name to get them to stop calling.

First got a voice message on my cell phone and my work number from Kevin Smith of the State Bureau of Investigation.  Telephone number 901-562-1202 ext. 601.  I phoned the number and a man answered who sounded exactly like the same person from the voicemail.  I asked for extension 601 and a man go on the phone, sounded like the same guy and said his name was Ian Bishop Head Supervisor of Bureau of Criminal Investigation Department.  He said the Attorney General was recording this conversation.  He then said that Americcan Cash Adavancement filed 4 charges against me and that I owed $610.  If I did not settle with him today then with all court fees the cost would go up to $10K.  I asked him so you are saying that the Attorney General of California is recording this call, he said yes.  I am currently having to file for bankruptcy and I told him all my creditors are going to be notified from my Attorneys Office and I told him I could give him my Attorneys name and number, he proceeded to say well you will have legal proceeding sought against you now for $10K.  I told him that he needed to contact my Attorney that I retained, or I could give his name and number to my Attorney.  The person proceeded to hang up.

Got the same BS.  'Ian Bishop' ( dumb as f*ck Hindu decides to use the name of a famous Cricketer). Do what I did:  'Ian' is now receiving thousands of calls from Craigslist. Men for being gang banged, men for being clockslapped by Transvestites who look like Peg Bundy, furthering online education (.
