- Bucky Milton !V| 3 repliesI always raise my voice and answer calls that I am possitive are not from friends or businnesses I deal with..
" WHAT THE HE** DO YOU WANT?? I AM NOT BUYING ANYTHING- WHAT THE HE++ DO YOU WANT- SPEAK UP-IA AM ON THE "DO NOT CALL LIST" WHAT THE HE++ DO YOU WANT??REMOVE ME FROM ALL OF YOUR CALLING LISTS AND DO NOT SELL OR GIVE MY NUMBER TO THE PERSON NEXT TO YOU. SPEAK UP...TOO LATE." then I hang up usually with the caller still trying to recite his/her prepared sales speech. I have been just that rude with solicitors who want money to fix others people's TITS. I have "man boobs but I will not donate money for "breast cancer research" when I have tits of my own to worry about. I will soon be disconnecting my "land line" because there are too many solicitors that have interrupted me and wasted my time even though I am on the "DO NOT CALL LIST!!@!- Caller: I didn't give the caller time to identify his country or even get started.
- Martin_GOffering to fix my computer problem. I did not want to waste too much of my time wasting their time. So I said that I would go turn on my computer. I let him get tired of waiting. They called back a few times, and I let them get tired talking to the air.
I have spent a little more time fielding this kind of scam in the past. The pattern was to tell you to go to a website. The site would be for a download of a trial version of a remote access software. The maker of that software is not an actual party to the scam. It can be a legitimate product that can be useful as long as the password does not fall into the wrong hands. The scammers calling are the wrong hands. I have not gone as far as downloading any software. For those who fall for the scam, the trouble begins when the scammer has the password to a remote access program that the scammer will claim to use to "fix" the computer.- Caller: ADAMS ZENNIA

- C. Vogt| 1 replyTold me he was calling back regarding information that my computer was running slow. He said "Is your computer running slow?" I said "No." He hesitated a few seconds and said, a bit angrily, "Then why did you call and report your computer running slow?". I said "I didn't". He said, "Are you the primary user or is (he used my husbands name)." I said "We both use the computer quite often. If you want to call back when my husband is available, ...." He hung up. I somehow doubt that my husband called him. He is pretty good with computers. If he can't fix it right away, he will work on it for a long time to try and fix it before he asks for help. And I know he has not been working on anything. The voice was not an American accent. Sounded perhaps from India.

- CR JohnGentleman with an Indian accent called saying he was getting reports of my computer running slow. I asked him which one and he said my home computer (there are three desktops and five laptops in our house). I asked him which IP address or MAC address and he said he couldn't tell. He said he worked for TSA in India and claimed they were not trying to scam anyone. I just needed to run some software that he would guide me through and that I would have total control of the whole process. If there were minor problems he could fix them right there, but if there were major problems they had software to sell me that would fix the problem. I hung up on him. Five minutes later I got another call from the same number, but I hung up right away.

- StarrJust called and when I told him I did not call to have my computer repaired. He asked my why I clicked on a program that alerts his company I was having problems with my computer., I informed him I was not on my computer and to remove my number from his call list and then I hung up. SOB called right back. I then blocked him via my ATT Smart Limits.

- VladdI also have been receiving a call from people from India. First off I can't understand them and second my computer works fine. They are trying to get me to download and give out all kinds of information. Couldn't give me the name of the company they worked for or anything. I asked him so many questions, that he got frustrated and hung up. He called me back five times in a row. One right after the other. I am able to block him, so I did.

- CorinnaI just attempted to answer this incoming call and by accident hung up on the caller. I returned the call and received a message that the number has been changed.
Number on caller Id
901 867-7856
Number changed to
901 867-5489
So, I then ran a search on both numbers and found the info I needed here on 800notes.com
I am glad I did not answer, my computer is running painfully slow and we had contacted Comcast.

- CrystalI received a phone call from 901-867-7856 tonight and the dude creeped me out! When I told him I was on the donotcall.gov list and he said he wasn't calling to sell me anything, told me he was calling to talk about "us" and proceeded to talk nonsense till I hung up.

- RosettaSome guy named Roger keeps calling my house about fixing a computer problem. I answered the first time and informed him that I did not make any such requests about my computer running slow and needed fixing. I asked him politely to not call my house again, and to remove my number from this list. He asked me what is wrong with me? I hung up the phone. He, thereafter proceeded to called exactly 9 more times within a matter of 6 minutes (2:18 pm-2:24 pm)!
- I HATE UNKNOWN CALLERSWe do not answer unknown callers. If it's important, leave a message. If I agree, I may call you back. The Do Not Call List is a joke. My advice is don't even try to talk to these callers - if you do accidentally answer one of these calls, simply hang up. No excuses required.
- harrassedcalls, leaves no msg.
- Persistent Little [***]My caller ID reads Adams Zennia phone number 1-901-867-7856. After I blocked him on our Panasonic wireless phone, that can block up to 250 unwanted callers, it popped up as M016123036000035, same number though. My phone will only ring half a ring then show it is a blocked caller, but when you go through the caller it shows up as ... Drum roll .... Adams Zennia!!!!!
My story is very much like everyone else's. He wants to get access to your computer through a remote access. He's called us before but not like this. This last time my husband wasn't home and even after telling him "we don't have a computer," which is a lie but I'm in school with two kids and a disabled veteran to care for and I don't have time for crap like this, he was still VERY PERSISTENT. He called back to back to back. My caller ID picked up a total of 12 calls from him and that does NOT include the calls that it didn't pick up because I picked up and hung up before the caller ID. Luckily for me my husband came home and He looooves messing with these types of people, giving them the run around, so he took over the exhausting amount of incoming calls from this India scammer. Needless to say, it's 10:06am and the phone has blocked his calls 3 more times already this morning. I guess he's ready for round two from last night.- Caller: "Roger with TSA"
- Me tooI just received a call on my landline from "Computer Tech
Support." "We got a report that your computer is running slow. Is that
right?" he said. "No," I said. "I should report you," I said. "Alright.
Bye bye," he said. An old person used to have this #. I feel
bad for anyone who might fall for that. - Pat DaileyJust got the same call from the same number. The caller told me that he had information from my computer that it was running slow.
I told him if he had that information he has hacked my computer and is participating in a crime. I also told him I was on the no call list. I also told him that I had 2 degrees in Computer Science(true) and I was pretty sure he did not have the ability to hack my computer and that I have a god idea if my computer is running slow.
He then hung up.- Caller: Adams Zennia
