answered the phone & they just sat there, did not say anything

I am not sure why these people are afraid to ID themselves.  I tracked them down through the TN.gov registry.
I do not understand why the phone companies keep selling these anonymous numbers to these scammers.
Could it be they are making MONEY from these jerks without jobs?
Not sure why they would be calling me!  No outstanding debts!  I don't use credit of any kind anymore.  If I can't pay for it I don't get it!

called & refused to leave message

called and wouldn't tell me who they were, just wanted me to verify my address. I hung up.

They just sat there and didn't speak. Called several times.

Called my phone and never said anything just held the line so I hung up

They call my phone all day long! I answer saying hello, but they don't say anything then they hang up, so I call them back and say I had a call from this number and they hang up on me again! I don't know who they are or what they could possibly want from me as I don't have any debt's.

Call 5 or 6 times everyday, never leave message. Leave me alone!!

called was hesitant to reply I said hello twice, she wanted to verify my first and last name wouldn't answer my questions until I verified my name. I asked her to hang up and call back since the connection was sketchy and she stated " I can't do that mam this is a automated call"  ??? odd sounded like a real person to me ??
