I just received a call from this number. The first time the phone rang only one and a half rings, then they hung up. The number was there, as well as the name "Cornwall Station" beneath it. A minute later the same number called, but this time "Cornwall Station" was replaced with "unknown name". I didn't bother picking up since I didn't recognise the name or number.

Got a call from this number, person said they were calling from Ontario on behalf of an ADT independent sales rep in Bedford, NS to set up home consultations. They only asked for my home address and said someone could come out to meet with my partner and I about installing an ADT system in our home. They gave the times 3:00, 4:00, or 6:00. They must have confirmed all of my information at least 3 times and then transferred me to their "supervisor" to confirm it again - confirming all of the details I had already arranged. I thought this was very strange. When I looked up the number it was nowhere to be found. I called back and the answering machine said "Pro-Tech Systems, a Certified ADT representative" - does anyone know anything about this?

The 902 area code belongs to PEI and NS so if they claim to be in Ontario calling on behalf of an independent rep in Bedford, you should ask them why they are using cell phones based in NS to call out from Ontario.  The roaming charges would be outrageous if they don't have the right plan.

I'd give it a 9 / 10 for potential scamminess.

have had several calls from this number - one ADT call, others I haven't picked up and rings only once sometimes.  

Just got this call.I'm in N.S. Didn't answer the phone,and it rang 50 to 70 times before I picked the receiver up and slammed it down.

Protech Services is based in Cornwall, Ontario and they are associated with ADT and calling on behalf of a firm located in Bedford, Nova Scotia. They call me every 3-4 months and I have explicitly told them I'm not interested as I have 3 German Shepherd Dogs all highly trained in protection work. Caller then goes on to suggest that he could enter my home and circumvent the dogs. My response was feel free to drop by. Give me a time and I will leave the house but be nearby with a first aid kit. It then shifts to possible house fire alarms and then I tell him that our pack alerts to everything that is out of the ordinary.

On the last call I told him we already had 3 four footed alarm systems that worked 24-7 and strung him along for a bit.

Seems that these idiots can't get it thru their pea brains that I have politely told them 3 times to get lost....but since they have a "live number" they keep trying and never seem to realize what I have told them previously.
