it is a scam set up to impersonate UPS there is even a link to a fraudulent website that appears to be ups..but is not...

just received this call too -  said he was "mark", & in marketing research - i said not interested & hanged up

Just got this call 2x in the last couple of days, it seems since I wouldn't answer all the ones from North Dakota 701-509-8703, they are trying a different number now from Nova Scotia, I would like to know why all the sudden it's my cell numbers they are calling and where would they get my cell number????

This is my 4th time in the last week or so!  I'm also asking the same question as you.... where the heck
did they get my phone # from? So much for  registering to the (do not call list Canada)!!

Was called repeatedly from the North Dakota number, 3-4 times daily.  I never answered.

Now the 902 number is calling repeatedly.  I only answered once, where I immediately hung up.

No idea where they got my cell phone number from.

Oh thank God it's not just me being bugged by this guy. Same scenario as everyone else - he calls, says "HELLO? HELLO?" and then hangs up. He's been leaving this message on my land line for the past few days.

I also get these calls and I am vacationing in Florida from Nova Scotia. I don't answer any calls to my cell unless I know the number. Is there anyway to block calls on an Iphone?
Does anyone know how we can e-mail and flood these people with e-mails or calls back?

This number has been calling me daily and nightly for a couple weeks.  If I answer it, there's about 10 seconds of silence, and then a computer says 'goodbye.'  If I don't answer it, I get the same thing in a voicemail.

Got the call twice today in Halifax, didn't anser either. Once was on my home number and once was my home office number.

i also got call today from 902-982-3078 at around 4:30pm AST. i did not answer it, and no message was left on my voicemail.

I just got it on my phone.  did not answer and whoever did not leave a message.

Ive been getting calls from 902 982 3078 every afternoon same time. Have never taken the call but they keep calling everyday. Bet its an automated dialler and hoping they will stop if I keep Ignoring.

I have been getting calls from this number to my cell and had been ignoring them, until they caught me off guard today.  It was a man who said he was not trying to sell me anything, but was doing "market research" and wanted to ask me a few questions.  I said that he was contacting me on my business phone, and that I wasn't ok with that, and asked him not to call again.  We'll see what happens now I guess.

I just realized the other number that has been pestering me on my cell is 1-7010509-8703 as well, although this one was something to do with debt collection.

For me, it was woman who asked me to answer questions for a survey.  I agreed, and it was questions around vacation (do I take vacation, where will my next vacation be).  I said yes, I take vacation time, but I did not know where my next vacation would be.  That was all she has to ask, and that was it.

The same thing is happening to me! The North Dakota number called me every day for a week. Now they've been calling me every day this week using a Nova Scotia number.

I have recieved 3 calls from 902-982-3078 in the past 3 days. I do not answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, and there is never a message left. I appreciate you all posting this as it was very helpful to me. I am in PEI, so it's not just happening in NS.
