- NatalieSame! They just called, AGAIN, and won't stop!
- BarbThey call me every day about the same time, I answer, they say nothing. I hang up. I call them back and it rings and then becomes a busy signal? Weird. I am going to block their number.
- JuliaI have seen on my caller ID that they have called many times over the past couple of weeks (with ID "WARRANTY"), and left no message. This morning I was home and decided to answer and put a stop to it. INCREDIBLY rude man wanting the mileage on my car in order to extend the warranty. I tried to have a logical conversation, telling him that I don't want to extend the warranty, and to try to figure out who exactly he was and exactly the purpose of his call. He kept interrupting me, telling me that it wasn't a matter of "wanting" to, and yelling at me.. He said at the beginning of the call that he'd sent me 3 mailings to extend the warranty, and that I'd never returned the card. He kept telling me that my car was "red-flagged" and that my VINS # was going to expire, and kept calling me "dear.". I guess he finally realized that he wasn't going to intimidate or bully me into anything, and he hung up.
- NIKKIWhoever these people are, the have no morals or values. Who calls anyone on a Sunday morning at 7 am to telemarket? Inexplicable.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- CharlieI just don't answer the phone when I see numbers like this one, I already know so let it keep ringing.
- Caller: Warranty
- Call type: Telemarketer
- TriviaMan56From the descriptions on this site and the Caller ID on my phone showing "WARRANTY", this is some scam involving extending an auto warranty on your car; oddly enough, I don't have a car now, haven't had one since 2001, and have never had an auto warranty at any time while owning a car.
Imagine, having to foist this crap on the public. Question: What kind of person's conscience allows them to purposely deceive and take your money? Answer: It's all about disconnection from your targeted 'mark', never having to see your 'victim', and brushing it all aside once the deed is done as though nothing wrong had ever happened, whatsoever. I guess it becomes so easy to do over time. Welcome to the omnipresent world of techno-scamming! - FrustratedSame issue as reported by others....they will not stop calling me even after I've explicitly asked them to remove me from their calling list for an extended warranty that I am NOT interested in !
- Call type: Telemarketer
- EricI got a call from this number with someone actually on the line. The guy was horribly rude, and would NOT let me interject. When I told him "No, not interested", he called me stupid and that I had to listen to him. I call the number back, told to hold while being transferred, and get a busy signal. Sounds fishy. Possibly a scam.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- SheriCaller asked about my Ford Focus. Told him I sold it. He then asked what kind of car I replaced it with and I told him it was none of his business. He got angry and I hung up.
- LeeThis number kept calling my work phone but not leaving a message. The man on the phone claimed to be from a warranty company out of NJ, even though calling from a TX phone number. His greeting "so yeah, what were we going to do about the extended warranty?" I asked him to repeat who he was asking for and he said "Lee Howard". Close, but not my name. I do have a warranty on my car though, so I asked him which car and he guessed "Ford". Wrong. Don't own a Ford. Obviously a scammer trying to get people to buy a fake warranty.
