A$$ hat scammers. Want your bank account numbers to deposit payday loan of $1,500.00 you just applied for. I own my company with 200 employees. Don't think a $1,500.00 loan would go far.

A Payday loan voice message .....claiming I have been pre-approved for a payday loan up to $1500.00
Voice message advised me to sign onto www.loanusdollars.com

The voice is automated, but very excited! It tells me I recently applied for a payday loan, and I've been accepted for it. The message is really loud, so I never listen to all of it, but it seems like a scam.

Just called me...also told me to login to www.loanusdollars.com and use my 'VIP Access code'

Just received a call on my cell. I have reported them to the Do Not Call Registry. I cannot find a working phone number to verify that I do not have an identity theft issue. This was a robo call directing you to their website with a pin number.

I really doubt there is any phone number that will verify you do NOT have an identity theft issue.
After all, one cannot prove a negative!

You neglected to tell us what the caller said.
However, from other posts in this thread, it appears the caller may have stated you qualified for a  loan, and only had to send them some money (or something like that).

Read this:
"It is illegal for companies doing business by phone in the U.S. to promise you a loan or credit card and ask you to pay for it before they deliver."

In fact, the more you need the money, the more urgent it is to read that information!

Protect yourself!
Recognize that NO legitimate company is going to offer you a loan, without their doing some background / credit checks on you, and they WILL generally need a snailmailed, signed contract.

If you or a friend fell for the scam, please try to educate your other friends.  The only way to stop these scams is to cut off their source of money!

History of the scam:
Some time in the 16th century (yep, the 16th century), some enterprising scammers devised the "Spanish Prisoner" scam.  Marks were promised a significant reward, if they contributed money to get the "very rich prisoner" out of a Spanish jail.

If the mark sent money, the scammer replied with some excuse that more money was needed, because something happened.  The scammer would continue with excuses and demands for more money, 'till the mark was broke, or wised up to the scam.

A variation of this scam exists TODAY, some 5 centuries later.  It is called an "Advance Fee Scam".  It remains successful because some folks are easily duped, or think they can get a very high reward for minimal investment.

They call from several different numbers.  I have blocked several numbers from the same message.  They just change to a new one.

Just got a call from the same thing that everyone else is getting. Some people need to get a life and a real job and stop calling us gard workers.

Automated message saying I recently applied for payday loan. Message left one voicemail. I'm on no call list

Got a call, and they claim to be have a "Free Google Site" ... considering that I develop websites, I found this highly amusing. Not sure what they wanted ... my bank info, etc ... because I hung up on them.

This number called me two days ago. I didn't answer.
