keep calling me and asking if someone there to accept papers being served....then wanting someone to call a phone number...a scam...don't fall for it...don't give them money...they threaten that we need to hire an attorney because someone filed a complaint on my son...uscellular helped me look this number up...a scam

Someone called us and said that I needed to give a payment because I was being sued, they gave me a number and said to call and make a payment immediately to stop the process. We called the company that we supposedly had an outstanding balance with and they stated that we did not have an account. IT'S A SCAM!

This just happened to us!!

Called threatening legal action not stating who they were or confirming I was who they wanted.  I told them to contact the person they were looking for via certified mail and to not call my number again or i would be consulting my lawyer and filing with the ftc . They proceeded to call and hang up as soon as I answered six more times in the next two hours.
