They are National Check Processing. They are a collections agency and they will threaten you. I have a case against them right now because they said if I didn't pay the amount owed I would be arrested or I will lose my job. They put me on a HUGE emotional rollercoster. I know what I owe and was willing to pay but needed to set up a payment plan. They refused to help me but then kept telling me I was uncooperative. I was told by my Uncle who is an attorney to not give them one cent and start a case against them. They violated the FDCPA multiple times so now I do have a case against them. Be aware that they are obviously just trying to get your money. Try to record the phone call or if they leave messages, keep them. I reported them to both the Better Business Bureau and to my states attorneys general office.

I have gotten several phone calls from them in the last 2 days. They have even talked to my HR Director. They are making me sick. They tell me the same thing. That they will have me arrested and I don't want that against me. I have talked to Olivia Xander, Stella Stackhouse, and Ava Lee. She told me that last week they sent a processor to this ladies work and she got arrested and fired. I have filed a claim with FTC, contacted our news station and now will file with BBB. I just want the harrassment to stop...

They dont have the right - its against every written debt law. If they threaten you, your family or your job, or pretend to be a law enforcement officer, they are breaking the law.

If they contact you again, first calmly ask for their business name (you may have to push about it) and then tell them that their threats dont scare you and that what they are doing is against the law. Tell them to send you paperwork with proof that you owe them. Tell them if they refuse to send you paperwork (and if you owe them, they would have your information), then they need to stop calling. Warn them that if they dont, you will be filing harrassment charges.

You can do this by going to the police with personally kept records of the date and time they call and when they threaten you, and the phone number - even if they dont give you the business name. Once you file the harrassment and have the paperwork in hand, you can go to your phone company and ask them for the info on the phone number calling you to further your harrassment claim.

I received a call at my work from this same person alexis cruz stating that i was to pay 783.45 now or they would be at my work taking me away in handcuffs and I just had a wife who has undergone her second brain surgery and is terminally ill. I was so upset I left work earlier than I was supposed to and called my deacon from church who is also a financial consultant and he said that they cannot arrest you for not paying a payday loan back.

I would be very upset, they are not allowed to give out any information to your employer about what is going on with you

They are National Check Processing. These people use VERY harsh and use nasty tactics to get the money you owe. My Uncle is a attorney and he said that you should call the original company that you owe the money to and try to work something out with them. If not, then since NCP has violated the FDCPA, you have to tell them that. And they will keep making threats (trust me I went through it already!) but keep your head up. I am in the process of suing them right now because of what they put me through. I did report them to the BBB (go on the website and file a complaint) and to my States attorney generals office. Like I said I was more then willing to pay my debt with payment arrangements but they proceeded to scream and yell and me. They also told me multiple times that I dont know the law. Well obviously they don't!

Thats what they told me. The gentleman that I spoke with asked me what my situation was. Thinking that he actually cared,  I said that I was having money problems because I'm a full time student for one but I also like with my grandma and I am her care taker. He asked me how much money I could pay them today I said I only have $40 to my name so nothing. He laughed at me, said I was pathetic, told me I had until 3pm to pay then hung up on me. I wrote down everything they said to me for my attorney and I forward all the messages they leave me to him also.

They can not arrest you. They are just using scary tactics to get the money. My suggestion is to tell them they are no longer to contact you at such and such phone numbers and that they have violated the FDCPA. It didn't work for me, but I have an attorney they now have to answer to.

I just got a call from Kelly Compton. She stated that she was with Mesa Financial and that she was going to settle with me. When I asked her the info of where to send the money, amazingly enough she gave me the exact same info as NCP. I am filing a complaint with the Office of Financial Regulation per the Orange Co Faud Dept. This is so ridiculous.

I had received an e-mail from my employer that some lady name Ava Lea had called asking questions trying to get information about me. However, the refuse to do so, but got her number for me to call. She had stated that I owed over $700 and I had within the next 4 hrs to pay it. She told if I did not pay it I will be processed for internet fraud and that I could loose my professional license. I money gram half of my payment in. She asst that I pay the rest by friday. I called her back I told her that I could not pay her, bc of finances, she insisted of me borrowing the money from somebody. She gave me an extension but told me I better paid it on that date. I ask her what company do I owe, and could I get the legal documents and a statement of how much I owe she told me that I waived my rights and that she did not have to give me any info. I ask was there a web site or phone number- she said no! She asked me why did want all of this information if I was gonna pay- I told her bc the same way you are investigating me I was gonna do the same thing. I can't seem to pull their web-site, however I found this web page here. I am so upset the way she talked to me was very unprofessional!--

yesterday received call from madison lewis, left meesage that  I needed to return call because there was
a legal investigation in bexar county about me, she also called my work and asked to speak with my
supervisor and left the same message.
I tried to return the call after work but she is in a different time zone and was gone for the day. I called this morning and she told me that if I could not pay $783 today by 12 noon her time then there would another $1200 for her to process a warrant for my arrest. I asked her if that would be filed with the District attorney here and she would not reply & asked "did I say that". her last comment to me was
"don't do anything and see what happens" and then she hung up pn me. I am not sure what I need to do.

    Lol.

I highly doubt this is a legitimate source. It's just scam artists making their rounds.

It is ILLEGAL to say that you are in trouble with the law.

If this does turn out to be legitimate go to the company you have debt with and tell them exactly what is going on. They can get into trouble for this. Do you guys not catch onto the fact they are telling everyone that they are in trouble with the law in some shape or form?

I have dealt with these sort of scam artists before. The people that are stating that this is legitimate could be nothing more than the scam artists trying to validate their claims. LOL. They are always the first ones to post about the legitimacy of a call.

Use your hears, for God's sake.
