I got a call today from this number 904-440-0295 Power Credit Solutions. I asked them to have a written notice sent to me regarding this debt, the person became upset, and hung the phone up. This is a scam. Any debt collector that refuses to send a written notice of the debt is a scam.

I got a call from this number saying that it was "Mediation Services" and they were filing legal documents with my name and SS#. They wanted me to call back promptly.

Just got the same call. First off they would never tell you there going to file legal documents against you. And second they dont even know if the person they are looking for lives at the number they are calling. A scam for sure

PCS aka Power Credit Solutions aka Legal Debt Mediation aka Credit Repair for 249.00 .....Company is owned by street thug James Powell.....One of his offices is ran by his mother Brenda Powell Tate aka pimpTress....They are fakes.....running a scam......they have underpaid employees working for them at 8hr.....they have trailer park trash from GA running one of there offices.....Her alias was Haley Patrick now she goes by Nicole Forrester......she is there loyal trailer dog!!!!!! Education level 8th grade...She is doing James Powell aka thug owner....There slave employees is John Farragamo and Gloria Brown aka Angela Davis aka rhymes with Witch .....She so stupid the owners don't even like her and she works like a slave.....For next 2 nothing!!! If you get a call frm these people hang up the phone!!!!!

You are right company is a scam. Owners Brenda Tate and James Powell have numerous lawsuits against them.

An actual Process Server is not going to have any conversation with you about any debt you owe, nor will they demand payment from you. If something like this happens, immediately call local law enforcement and make a full report including as much descriptive information as you can give them of the person impersonating a court officer.
