Got a call from this number but I didn't hear anything when I answered

This number called me on my cell phone.  A woman asked for me by name, but acted like I said the person she wanted was not home.  Said "there's no message, we will call another time."

Rang the number back and got a message that "the call center is busy".  Very odd because reverse lookup says this is a cell phone number.

This number called, asked for me by name, then asked if they could send me a donation envelope to support some cancer research.

Keeps calling my phone no answer. Dose not leave any messages.

Woman claimed to be from the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  Referred to me by name on my cell!  Wanted a
commitment to pledge $50- and send me a pledge envelope for that amount.  I told her I would determine a donation
when I received the information.  She claimed that she needed a promise to pay $15- to receive the info.  I told her I
was not interested and hung up.

My son received a call on his cell phone asking for me by name.  The female caller wouldn't identify herself or leave a message. Scam...

Rec'd a call from this phone number, but since I didn't recognize the number I didn't answer. I called the number back later and a recording said it was The Research Center.

Just got a call from that same number.  Didn't answer, and no message left.
