These people called my cell phone and later on - ground line. Spoke with Latin accent, presented themselves as
IRS agents. Would give you their names (obviously fake) and IRS ID (also fake, for sure). Told the made up story about your undisclosed "foreign transactions" that you did not report to IRS and trying to hide from taxes. Would make a statement that IRS has sent you paperwork 3 times already but you did not respond. And the next thing they are going to do - transfer your case to your local police department who will dispatch police officers to arrest you.Then, they would give you an option to withdraw cash from your bank account (4-6 thousand) and pay this cash for their voucher which would release your debt and close the case. I have rushed to my local police department and told them this story.
They defined it as scam. Be careful! IRS would never act like that!
