Got a call from this number.No message left

Same here. Do not answer when it says unknown! Grrr.

Robo call about Life Insurance and wants you to press 1 to be connected to a representative.  I'll press "report to Attorney General Pam Bondi"!!!  Unfortunately, the ROBOT doesn't know to wait until the voicemail greeting ends before speaking, so I didn't get the name of the "company".  This number is in Jacksonville Beach

Called 8/28, 7:00PM.  Hung up immediately.  Now my phones indicate a voicemail message, but there is no message when I call voicemail.  I'll call Comcast to see if they can fix this when I have an hour to wait to talk to someone (hopefully American).

Receiving calls from this number. Will not leave a message. Very annoying. What happened to the do not call registry?

The Do Not Call registry is alive and well, and working as intended.
However, your understanding of the DNC list is ... um ... lacking.

If you had read all the words on the Do Not Call signup pages, you would have learned that the No Call list is limited to "legitimate telemarketers".  It specifically exempts charities, political callers, survey companies and businesses with which one has done business in the last 18 months.

Scammers ignore the list.  After all, criminals ignore laws, right?

Remember, the DNC list is NOT a call blocker!  If you want to block repeated calls from unwanted callers, get a call blocking app, device or service (Google is your friend).

Please reply to this post to let us know you read it, and will take steps to resolve the problem yourself.

Called and since had no name on caller id let roll over to machine - no message left, of course. I get robo calls like this once a day - same time - different numbers. I keep blocking, but they just switch to a new number. It never ends!

I received a call today. missed it , but no message was left.. Tired to return the call, first received a message welcome to Verizon, etc,  second attempt to call them, received a message that this number was a non working number.. How can a non working number even call me.. Why are idiots and masters of stupidity being assigned a phone number in the first place is what I would like to know.  I have to pay for blocking numbers and am only allowed to block 20, so I am really screwed with all the scammers and crazy lazy people out there using  (????) phones..

Caller ID came up "Out of Area".  Blocked call #443 (two Panasonics), idiot call #891 since 5/2/13.  Caller ID "1" (100-000-0000) has called 66 times, including 12 in one day, 6 on another.  I also had to block my own scammed number as caller ID indicated that I received a call from IT!

Receive call 8/.31 at 3:00pm. Caller hung up without leaving a message.

Robo call, "Not a sales call. This is about newly implemented insurance requirements." Then I hung up.

Robo call ...recorded message about insurance requirements...  I suffered thru the message, punched 1 as requested  and waited probably 40 seconds for rep to answer and begin sales spill.....  after they go thru sales spill, place phone in front of Fat Steve my 30 lb jack russell who I have trained to bark incessantly as long as the phone is held out to him.  I now look forward to unwanted phone calls when I have the time to activate Fat Steve....  unwanted callers now hang up on Fat Steve & me.....

Same crap they keep calling and do not leave a message and when this number rings its either busy or they do not answer.

You're correct about them switching to different numbers so that call blocking is ineffective. It's impossible to eliminate these unwanted calls except if you purchase a call blocker and we shouldn't have to put out good money just to not be disturbed.
