Called and left no message...Don't these companies know...that people will never call them back if they don't even leave a msg....idiots..

It's a debt collector.  They call me all the time looking for someone else (I guess someone who used to have my phone number).  I tell them every time that I don't know that person and they keep calling me.  Super annoying.

I called the number & its a financial institution collection agency. Seems I have some outstanding student loans. Still cant pay, cause im in school. Leaving a vm would have helped.

asked for all kinds of info on my deceased mother. Refused to give it out without finding out about them. They said okay and hung up on me. A scam??

Called my house today. If it is a debt collector, they are probably looking for my Ex-girlfriend. I just turn on the fax machine when I get calls from "unavailable" or "Private" call IDs. I've been getting less calls from solicitors by doing this.

they keep calling me and when they leave a voicemail its some recording that keeps saying numbers but thats all they say it's really annoying but i never answer the phone when they call since i don't know who it is.

This number keeps calling me. I always neglect it. But the pain is that my phone is a pre-paid one. Every time it caused a recording and I got a 1-minute charge...Sometimes I doubt if it was Sti-mobile hired agent to promote the sales...

This is the worst example of text-to-speech I've ever heard. A computer voice repeats my ex-wife's name twice, then spews out a whole bunch of numbers (twice).

Yeah, like that's going to get me to call them back! Puh-leez. These companies are too lazy to use a real human (from America!) to leave a decent message, so they let computers speak numbers into answering machines.

They probably wonder why nobody calls back.

This is a debt collection company. When they do leave a message,not always, it says this is an attempt to collect a debt.

keep calling my cell numbeer for someone elses name.  This is a new number.  By the way people, The goverment made cell phones public record now.  That is what my cell phone provider told me a couple of weeks ago.  The do not call list is proving to me that it doesn't work.  What a joke!

calls weekly, leaves no message, or leaves message for someone else about debt collection... SUPER annoying.

This is very annoying.  I get about 5 calls day up even up to 9:00pm at night.  Same thing the other person stated....some recording that you can barely understand requesting someones name an repeating (2 x's) a bunch of numbers.  Tired of it!

Got a call with a bunch of numbers.  Took me a few to realize they were saying the telephone number to call.  But nothing more.

BTW, people...  the National Do Not Call list does not apply to collection agencies.  But they do have to follow the Federal Trade Commission's Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Sometimes they call and leave no message, but when they do they say my maiden name and a string of numbers and they repeat both.  I changed my name 3 years ago, so anything of importance should have my married name.

Just received a computer generated call asking if this is (my husbands name) and spelled our last name, then asked if this was the right person, if so to push "1" if not to push "2".  I immediately hung up and dialed *69 (our phone company's method to identify a phone number) of course it was 904-722-2265...I did not call back, but did a Google search of the phone number and found this site.  Anyone know how to stop these people?
