I get calls several times a day at work and they hang up when I answer. The account is paid up, I don't understand why they are calling.
After researching this number 904 954-3072...Which is Citi Bank collections....Who have called twice today and left no message...I am outraged, as I don't have a citi account...
I have a fixed amount autopayment setup on a flex line of credit.
Do NOT under any circumstances do business with Citibank
I was contacted by this number six times in one day on Saturday 8/23 - 904-954-3072 Citibank - 8:28 am Citibank - 10:21 am Citibank - 12:20 pm Citibank - 1:19 pm Citibank - 2:07 pm Citibank - 2:54 pm Sunday 8/24 - 505-797-6333 Citibank 8:40 am Citibank 2:29 pm Sunday 8/24 - 505-797-6327 Citibank 4:50 pm
(Weekend crew or they are getting tired)
I have loaded these numbers programmed into my cell with a silent ringer aka (ignore) so the affect is minimal harrassement
If this were a person, then it would be time for a TRO!
I did a google for this phone number (904-954-3072) and I found this forum. I received a call from this group 5 times yesterday evening, and then 8 AM this morning (waking me up.... >.<)
Want to know the crazy thing?? MY PAYMENT POSTED 2 DAYS AGO!
I have verification from my bank statement that my check cleared, AND I can log on to the credit card's account and verify that it was ALSO posted there as well.
The woman that I spoke to was very rude also. I informed her that I have verification that the account is paid up to date. Could it be possible *gasp* that there was a holiday weekend last week and maybe someone messed up?
I told her to stop calling, but she said "As long as there is a past-due balance on the account, the calls will continue." I said again "You don't seem to understand, that I have PROOF that indeed $90 was paid and cleared out of my checking account on September 4, 2008."
She continued to argue, so I finally just hung up. I don't need that BS at 8 AM on a Saturday morning.
Calls several times a day -- every day. Sometimes there is someone on the other end and sometimes there isn't. They never identify themselves and only want to speak to my husband. If he is not available, they promptly hang up. When I asked if I could take a message, I was rudely told, "No, you may not," and she hung up on me. Enough is enough. We are on the "do not call" list.
This sounds really crazy but I get calls all the time also from this number. Twice however, the voicemails were different. Once, I heard a black man asking a black woman if they could get it on. She said no she had to work. The second time, she must have given in. The voicemail was rather lewd, she was obviously enjoying herself. I know this sounds like I'm just here to make a horrid post, but I swear it's true. I have yet to call back and will now that I know for sure it's citicard and try to report these incidents. I highly doubt they'll find out who it was since this is obviously a portal of a number.
They just called me....didn't answer because I didn' recognize the number and decided to google it - so here I am...
Funny thing is I payed my citi card payment online yesterday for it to post today....it still shows it pending on their site (well after it should have already posted today)....SO if they are in such a rush to get their money they should get busy processing that payment instead of calling me...don't ya think???
Just talked to the card company last night about balance transfer and the guy thanked us for being such a good customer for 7 years - "you always pay online and have no late payments". Then a call from this number this morning but no message. It's a scam.
I recently moved and realized I had not paid my citibank credit card in a couple months because I forgot to tell them my new address. When I called Citibank, she ended the conversation by telling me that automated phone calls would stop in a few days. More at http://chadnorwood.com/2008/10/02/spoofing-caller-id/
So yeah, citibank basically admitted to having this annoying automated calling service to people who are late in paying their credit cards.
I am receiving calls from this number at my work extension for someone that does not even work at our company. When you google the number, this blog comes up , but not identifying company information.
